i always figured if anyone mentioned her, Vader would unleash the dark side and destroy that person in blind rage, i figure even Palpatine wouldn't mention her, knowing how anger can fuel the dark side and make a Sith very powerful

Your theory is entirely possible. Dagan Gera was in a Bacta Tank for years and decades.

My life as a Jedi brought me nothing but pain as I had nearly been drawn to the Dark Side. I had lost everything because of it until my former padawan brought me back to the light. I had lost my wife, but I discover that my children still live and my former Master told me of my wife’s last words - that there was still good in me and she was right.
But now with Palpatine dead, my role as a Jedi is over as Bail Organa became Chancellor of the New Republic. While the Jedi Order was reformed, I chose to live on Naboo with my children, to be the father that Padme wanted me to be and Ahsoka would join me as well since she was close with both Padme and I - I would’ve considered her as one of my own.
I am Anakin Skywalker and I send this message to any surviving Jedi taking refuge among the stars.
Coruscant is free.
It is time to come home.

What If the Republic and the Separatists made peace?
What If the New Republic approved Hera’s request to take a task force to search for Grand Admiral Thrawn in the Ahsoka series?
What If the Empire destroyed the rebellion before it became the Rebel Alliance?, Like the Empire destroying all of the rebel cells before they could unite together against the Empire into the Alliance to Restore the Republic, destroying the early rebellion against the Empire, or like the Empire captured Mon Mothma before she could make her speech to unite the rebel cells together into the Alliance to Restore The Republic in Star Wars Rebels , or Darth Vader, when he attacks Phoenix Squadron in Star Wars Rebels Season 2, he also ends up destroying the entire rebellion in the process, stopping the Alliance to Restore the Republic from being formed.
What If The Separatists were never formed. This would probably lead to no Separatist crisis or Clone Wars, No Clones for the Republic, positively no Order 66. Also this could possibly lead to Anakin Skywalker not turning to the dark side of the force and becoming Darth Vader, as well as to the Jedi and the Jedi Order not falling, no Empire, and probably so much more.

What if General Grevious had a really bad day and instead of following the plan, ordered a full scale bombardment of Coruscant before Dooku could stop him, glassing the planet. Killing everyone on the world. Palpatine, the Jedi, the senate, and every citizen. The biggest war crime in Galactic History.
Obi Wan would be in shock while Anakin would be full of rage due to Padmes death.
Dooku would be enraged because Grevious ruined Palpatines plans and now the remaining Republic officers and Jedi would be in shambles as the Republic disolves. The Confederacy wins, but at what cost?

Cool what if...makes sence in todays market. Ahsoka confronting Anakin and saving him.that bond ,dont recall it being that strong ,back before E3 came out. Back then in the Clone Wars Ahsoka seemed like a charecter too give Anakin someone else to interact with besides obi.Having his own apprentise was not even mentioned in E3(i dont recall it anyway).Good luck on nect

What if the sith empire were in the place of the jedi order?
For example: the sith would be in the clone wars against the seppratists
What if Obi-Wan secretly contacted R2-D2 and has him delay Anikan just a bit so he and Padme arrive on Mustafar first?
They find the separatist leadership and in an odd change of events Obi-Wan saves the separatists from Anikan.
The leaders, realized they gave been utterly betrayed and turn to Obi-Wan and Padme to save them.
In one fell swoop Obi-Wan is now the military leader of the CIS replacing General grievous and Padme becomes the political leader replacing Count Dooku.
No Droid shut down.
No end of the war.
Now Sidious has a real problem.
