automatics are a better choice because its less activity to do espacially when youre stuck on a traffic jam would you constantly step on the clutch pedal when you got to a traffic jams?
At the end of the day let people drive whatever they want some people enjoy clutch control in busy traffic. Some don’t. Some don’t care about the small benefits of manual,some do care. Some people enjoy not having to change gear every couple of seconds, some don’t. Some Manual drivers enjoy auto now and then. Some auto drivers enjoy manual now and then. At the end of the day just let people do what they enjoy and mind your own business. Life becomes pretty simpler that way
I feel like when we'll have flying cars, people will still say manual flying cars are better.. What people dont understand is that manual or auto depends on the vehicle. I couldn't stand shifting in a Newer Porsche, I'll prefer paddles or simply automatic.. just like i couldn't stand an auto in my classic mini..
I think GM shifter is the best because they don't have manual mode up-shift and down-shift directly on the shifter, as like in my 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X, you have paddle shifters directly on the back of the stering which mean you don't neede to have on hand on the shifter to shift.
