You actually press LB/L1 first and can actually hold it before pressing RB/R1 to do the one hand tuck.

You forgot the "Kucherov" deke where he pretends he fanned on the shot and it slides in. Hold L1/LB and push both sticks down. :)
I tried this move and it did not work, it is a fake and if you try it will not work
You can do it, it doesn't fool AI. It works against user goalies.

U can choose wich way you spin.. if you hold L2 and then quickly spin the right analog stick he will spin in the rotation chosen

How do you do the outside off the skate? like Barkov.
How you do force field puck protection, and the deke, where the puck enters another dimension?
Toe drag, behind the back onehander, another deke where u hold puck to forehand side hold right bunker or left bunker ( Xbox ) and push the right anolog stick to the right ( for a righty push left for a lefty) and u can do that deke with the puck on the backhand side

for the one handed deke, you actually have to go diagonal up across from the backhand side. if you click up on the same side, it just does a shimmy thing
Toe drag, stride deke, the turris and the kick off the Skate from backhand.

By pressing L1 and then switch backhand/forehand it does the Windmill Deke for me.. what do I do wrong?
For Datsuyk pullback - are you holding R3 while pulling back? Or are you clicking down R3, then unclicking, then pulling back? Thanks!

Dude sweet video glad I watched it.Ea NHL gamers are all hardcore af tho. The Only game that I know of where you legitimately have to practice your thumb Strength , after a competitive period of skating for a min poke checks some jukes plenty of passes and plays then finally to deeks and shooting your thumbs will be smoking.. lol no joke rubbed two brand new controller joi sticks to nubs.00

Hey baconcountry can you do a video on how to gain zone entry? I'm having some trouble with it, everyone plays the trap
Jordan Brown slow it down. A trap is meant for a rush. Let them come to you. When the seem opens up pounce. Some people try to force but thats fighting a losing battle. Slow it down, drop it back to your end if need be and get them moving. A d-man trying to get in position is much easier to beat than a d-man already lined up and set to press. Dump and chase also works well cause it gets them guessing. Good luck bud

Quick wrister 2 or dirty dangles 2, heavy hitter 2 and marathon man
Toe drag which is usually pretty good. I never knew how to drop pass and I've been playing forever.

Mathis Courchesne go thru the legs and let go then rip her. If youre right handed cut in from the right and do a fake thru the legs. Make the move but pull back and shoot. He doesnt kick it off his skates in real life either. Barkov fakes the slick move to get the goalie to drop then has an easy tucker
Not sure but I think we forgot the toe drag, which I find pretty useful. Using the right stick put it out either all the way left or right and and then slide it down. Also variations of the one tap deke. Just click left bumper and there’s a few different animations depending on how your skating. Love the channel keep it up bacon.
The zetterberg deke I can’t get to work without doing a windmill! If someone wants to help me that would be great!

What is the trick to hold onto the puck when doing the spin ? I seem to always lose the puck when I do it.
If the player your trying to deke with doesn’t have a decent rating for hand eye or dekeing or puck control, so like an 80+, that will happen almost every time with every deke
Also, a player with that rating will lose the puck also if they are tired. Try to keep fresh lines in there. Always check your lines before a face off and always change to your freshest line.

What didn’t you like about18? Just wondering
I didn't think 18 was horrible but I'm thinking most of the hate surrounding NHL 18 is from franchise exhaustion. Between NHL 16-18 there was little to no worthwhile changes with very little effort to actual gameplay mechanics. All focus was directed towards NHL Threes and other things that should never take precedence over improving gameplay. All the ongoing issues from previous years (like puck pickups) were still present which should be easy fixes they just seemed to ignore completely.
NHL 19 seems to have fixed a lot of things. It nearly feels like a new game with the skating opening up so much more creativity, hitting is vastly improved, puck pickups, deflections and most importantly of all, no more poke spam. Already they've done more with NHL 19 than the last 4 years combined.
NHL 18 was just showing how stagnant the franchise was getting. As a long time fan of the franchise since the 90s I was actually 100% planning on skipping NHL 19 especially with my current backlog and all the games coming out this fall. Was really just expecting another NHL rehash but was pleasantly surprised. The game is actually improved in more ways than one.

Lets make it easy for some people so if you are on hybrid i believe you can hold L1 and press triangle square ect. To make some stuff easier so if you play on hybrid just press those buttons and you will to some good dekes that some people struggle to do🤑

you have to one hand tuck it in the first post.. not the far post. if you come from the right and going left.. then you one hand tuck it to the right so the keeper goes your way and don't have the strength to com back so quick

I’m always skeptical of videos like these “How to do ALL DEKES in NHL ___” and then there’s always 3-4 dekes I see when I play the game that never get covered in the video and I have no idea how to do them lol

@@michaelstephens7403 yeah I figured it out I was playing on hybrid controls so I couldn't lol, I've been teaching myself how to use the skill stick now and so far I like it the dekes and shot aiming feel faster and better.
How are you playing this early?
