MJX B4W is a foldable, 5g wifi fpv. 2k remote tilt adjustable camera, GPS quadcopter RTF and it is available in one or two battery versions with or without a carry bag.
It has an ultrasonic sensor, optical flow sensor and barometric pressure sensors to assist in position hold indoors and GPS for position hold outdoors.
With GPS, a single push of a button will return the quadcopter to where it took off from and it also has failsafe return to home and low voltage return to home.
It has two speeds and with a GPS on/off button, it can be flown with GPS position hold or without for a smoother flying quadcopter for smoother video capture.
Regardless of GPS on or off, the return to home fuctions still work so carefree flying with this quadcopter.

Nice! I've tested this mjx b4w for a week now and this drone has a very stable flight control even at 10 knots windspeed, this thing can hold very well, perfect to mount my GoPro Hero 7, I'll planning to mount insta360 to my drone and 3D print some landing gear for bottom mount camera.

I don't have a latency issue. Bought Dec. 22, 2019. Great review. I'm having a problem with the way points. I can set them up, but when I initiate it, it "Fails."
It just seems to have been such a long period of anticipation and buildup for this quad and it is only a minor improvement over the Bugs 5w. Yeah, it has the optical stuff but I'm not going to be flying a brushless drone with no prop guards in the house. So what is the point? And that 20 frames with drops is an insult.
So, I'm just going to stick with my 5w's for decent quick video with tilt ability and my 2c's for lifting a "real camera".
Also, while the flight time is a big improvement, you can't even check the voltage on the battery. You don't know if it is balanced well or not and it takes forever to charge.
But it's all relative. Just two years ago, this drone with all it's capabilities at this price would have been considered a miracle.

Its a really nice flyer if it works properly. One of my motors died within 30 seconds of the maiden flight, lost all control over it and it crashed into the next wall. Now i have a 200.- paperweight and need to got through the whole CC thing with BG...
how did you crash a brushless on a maiden flight ? did you bind it . and have enough satellites linked ?

I've flown fixed wing and nitro helicopters, I'm new to the drone world.(dont have one yet) If you turn off gps in flight, but get screwed up, and switch it back on, will the drone find that original home position? I'd like to get into fpv, that would be a great backup failsafe. Most of my aircraft were 60" + wingspan...these are so tiny by comparison, I have no doubt I could fly it, it's more about learning high speed orientation on something so small. Regardless of gps on or off, it will maintain home position of its last take off spot and all of the return to home will still work it just will not hover in place so only gps position hold is lost if gps is turned off and will still return to home by itself.

Sorry 'bout the muffled voice sound on the test part of the video. My mobius ran out of battery and I had to use the GoPro Session as hat cam. I like the mobius wayyy better.

Hi RC. I downloaded the JJRC X app like I see you have on your iPad. I can see the Wifi Network on my iPad. It is called drone_104818047,,,, something like that. BUT I CAN'T OPEN AN APP TO USE IT. There is no icon on my iPad desktop to open JJRC X.. How do you open the app. Thanks much again,,,,, Bill in Mexico.

I have two questions if you go to far on full battery does it lose connection and crash or does it return to home and if you are close to yourself within range and it runs out of battery does it return to home before it runs out fully

Yes, it is possible I suppose I haven't tried it but just make sure once failsafe kicks in it does not have obstacle avoidance.

drone who is my preferred drone of the 2019 flying season. At a very reasonable
price it has excellent flying characteristics - it’s super fun to fly! And as
you say, its only hiccup is the camera which although good for photos, its
videos are not up to par with more expensive drones… I finally corrected this issue,
by mounting on its bottom an external camera (RunCam 5) weighing 56 grams. I
also fabricated a Bottom-mounted Camera Landing Gear from 3 mm barbecue sticks which
weighs only 10 gr (see DIY video: th-cam.com/video/dlJ5nl2nXF0/w-d-xo.html ).
Now the B4W/EX3/X11 drone does super video recordings equivalent to drones that

It is a wifi video on this one and the monitor for the b6 is a 5.8ghz receiver. Two entirely different set up. This one you will need a phone or tablet with 802.11ac protocol wifi or 5g wifi :)

I just bought the MJXRC BUGS 4W. It will not fly. I have tried everything. There is no Satilite signal at all. It reads 0. It will not calibrate horizontally. What a drag.

I think MJX uses a different protocol for their gps drones than the WiFi drones.
This drone is such a shame if I'm honest, superb quality and great features and great flier,, but yet again mjx has let the camera and lens quality let's it down, it's a shame this could have been a true contender if it had at least EIS..
well, eis would have been nice too but the fact I had to slow down the video 0.84x to match realtime video is a wonder on both this and the JJRC X11.
@@RCEscape because it record at 20fps and increase the speed of recorded videos to reduce laggy effect of original 20fps videos
This drone lifts a GoPro with ease.
Use an elastic strip and a foam pad to secure camera and away you go.
Image stabilization is not important as video can be stabilized later in a free program.
The Bugs 4W is an epic drone.
For The Price I Ordered It As My First Drone. I Knew Buying It Video Quality Is Poor, But I Bought It So I Can Learn To Fly One Before Spending $500 Or More On A Better Quality Drone.

I'm spoiled by my Spark and Mavic. To be honest, I see no reason to go this route to save a few bucks, then go through all the aggravation to take this on a trip to do videos, and end up with sub par video. Just not worth it to me as a long time quadcopter owner and builder.

No stabilization I can’t stand how shaky the video is in 5 mile an hour wind you have to move the stick ever so slightly but still the video is shaky because of no stabilization almost wish I did not buy those drones
The thing that bothers me more is the recorded video not being in sync with real time and I have to slow the thing down to .84x to sort of match real time.
What a crappy camera, not smooth at all, it jerks, wiggles and shakes alot !

This dron is total crap. It burned down on the first flight.

@@RCEscape .. It was the first flight. He flew up and when he landed, he sat down badly and hit the ground with the rotor and smoke came out and the motor and motherboard were burned.
