I jammed with some friends in Yuma a few years back and met a fellow named Carmine Sardo. Carmine knows Albert Lee and has played with him a few times. I've been a fan of Albert since the hot band years!
Certainly one of the best performances of this, one of my favorite songs, that I have heard. Up there with Rodney Crowell’s and Emmylou’s. Well done Albert.

If you haven't already, read Crowell's book Chinaberry Sidewalks. Funny as hell. Great writing... even better IMO than his songs.
