- People have been asking me for years for this undubbed version I've had buried in my computer so you can finally hear what her iconic whistle notes sounded like when she whistled "Yes You Did!". I finally found it and wanted to share with everyone! Yes, her whistle notes and a few chest notes were modified for the dubbed version but it's still incredible to hear how it really sounded...Long live the music queen :-) Enjoy!

The specific part "Yes you did!" Wasn’t dubbed, sounds literally the same to the dubbed version, even with the thrill
I don't think she's saying 'Yes you did' - she is stretching out the lyric 'Sweet Destiny' - so essentially it is 'You treated me kind - Su-weeeeee-e-e-e-e-e-e-e_____EEEEE-T - 2:26 Destiiiiiny! ... Prayed through the nights ...'etc

So I'm noticing the things the studio post edited were: "The answer that heaven" was pasted in from another show (to make it more exciting i guess), and then made her whistle notes cleaner and on key. Anyone spot anything else?

No.. It may have been streamed but it wasn't live. Mariah has always had a good team that post edits her vocals and post mixes the sound. Actually so does every major diva out there lol. If you take divas live 98, for example, if you find the live tv broadcast you can hear the undubbed version, but it was post edited for dvd afterwards. Frankly I have always tended to prefer the live version over the edited ones, but its kinda of nice to be able to have 2 different versions to discover over time!
