So u mean to tell me there would be a president that personally knows the capability of the IG or the CDF in the services.???Unless the president has been a service member that will never be practical
The President doesn't know everything, BUT he has trusted advisor(eg. Cabinet, and even the "kitchen" one too) whose job is to work in his best interest. Those he chooses advice him on matters pertinent to their field of education, training, and even experience too( or that is how it ought too be). Even IF its his bossom buddies, they MUST have their finger on the nations pulse, on matters in their purview. Bottomline, he chooses them(advisors, n his inner circle), BUT the ultimate responsibility resides with him(the buck stops at the appointing authority's door/desk. Furthermore, William has never complained(reprimanded) or held his own advisors responsible for misleading him, or for errors/ ill advise.
