  • This is Part 1 on HOW TO MOD a Arcade 1up SF2 cabinet. Many people have messaged me and well im more than happy to help! we are going to do the same exact mods that i have done in my first arcade 1up which many people where not a fan of how i video'd it. I sold that cabinet and well might as well build another one!
so first here is the WHOLE list of things that are going into this cabinet! again its the same exact stuff that went in my first cabinet
i suggest purchasing this stuff first and then start working on the physical part of modding, ordering the lcd converter alone is going to take 2 days with amazon prime.
    PART LIST Tools wise:
impact drill with philips hes bit
    a File
    scissors or wire cutters
punch down tool and a hammer.
for the bit i used to make the small circles for the speak holes i used a 5/32" bit (i did not use this exact bit, i suggest buying a pack of bits) www.amazon.com...
Lcd converter for the screen to hdmi: www.amazon.com...
GAMEROOM SOLUTIONS LED 20Button Kit with Xin MO( i personally used the zippy joysticks and you can tell ryan what color buttons you want!: gameroomsoluti...
z313 logitech speakers (keep your eyes open for micro center open box or refurbed deals!): www.amazon.com...
    led strip: www.ebay.com/i...
1 1/8" bit to drill on face for 4 player admin buttons: www.amazon.com...

Vic_VP got mine up and running today with a very odd button set up lol. Something else came up I wonder if you’ve experienced it before: after a few plays, my Pandora’s box 6s stopped working, it would power up, showing the intro screen but won’t run pass that to show the menu, ever had that happening to you before? Much appreciate! Good luck w your next project

@@weskerwaldorf2824 that's interesting, a PB 6s? I didn't even no they made that. It might be a bootleg clone. PB is designed to replace arcade jamma, meaning they should be able to run 24/7.
You may either have a bad device or a clone. I suggest contacting seller

My personal opinion, the buttons are totally garbage and useless. The micro switches are so tiny I'm sure after 4 months of heavy use they will break. Also the micro switches are soldered in, so I cant put a iPac or xin to that button lol
