It’s also a great way to start the new one. I’m a little hyped on bronchitis medication, and watching your reaction is a great way to burn off false energy.
I recently discovered your channel and I have to say, I love your thoughtful observations and sincere emotions during your reactions. The Lord of the Rings stories are very dear to me. They’ve played a large part in shaping who I am today. Watching your reaction to it has been AMAZING! My favorite I have seen yet, and I’ve seen many. Your willingness to show how much the story moves you is very endearing. I’m going to subscribe to your channel because you’re inspiring and touching, dear Sir! Cannot wait for Part 3. As the peoples of Middle Earth would say, “Namárië” 🥹❤️
Gotta shout you out for a good reaction love the content. I got to see this too at my local theater in my hometown several years ago, they played all three of the extended editions that I got to watch it with my brother. I don’t regret it😂
He’s so like Aragorn, but a gentler version (for lack of a better term). He’s got that same unbreakable gallantry and concern for his men. He’s a skilled warrior, but he has no use for the trappings of war, only the results if he can defend what he loves.
If only Frodo had Uber'd an Eagle to Mordor...But seriously you must see the making of these films to fully appreciate them even more, unbelievably. The fact that they were all done at once is pretty unprecedented. After being blown away by The Two Towers my friend said, "you haven't seen anything yet." To whatever end...
Don’t feel bad for losing it with Denethor. On one of my rewatches, 8 shot him with my fingers, complete with sound effects, and scared the daylights out of the two cats sleeping next to me. Poor Loki was so startled, he ran in place before he could take off. I hate this the way they portrayed Denethor as a murderous lunatic. He isn’t a likeable character in the book, but he is one I can respect until he totally loses it over the funeral pyre. He got the non-combatants to safety and sent to Rohan for help before Gandalf and Pippin got there. He favors Boromir, but he doesn't totally despise Faramir and try to get him killed. A key point the movie doesn’t show is that Denethor has been using the Minas Tirith stone to spy on Sauron for years. Sauron can’t corrupt him, but has been manipulating what Denethor can see until he loses all hope, then loses his mind. With that entire funeral pyre disaster, he thinks he’s saving Faramir from being tortured to death by Sauron’s minions when Minas Tirith falls. He held out against Sauron’s mind games longer than Saruman. The odd thing about his dynamic with Boromir and Faramir is that he’s doing what his dad did to him, but that golden child wasn’t even his brother. When Aragorn was a younger man, he served both Rohan and Gondor in disguise, under the name Thorongil. Denethor’s dad favored Thorongil over his own son, so that’s part of the reason Dnethor is spun out about Aragorn. He has never been a stupid man, and it didn’t take him long to figure out who Thorongil really was. Aragorn left Gondor without returning to Minas Tirith because he didn’t want to get caught up in that toxic dynamic.
F**k it..lets end the year with a bang!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

At least this is one of the few films and reviews that I don't mind rewatching even if it had to be reedited in truncated form.

Tacos for everyone!!!!! In the book Faramir is one of my favorite characters.

Go algorithum go!
Love your reactions so much!!
No need to apologize for your feelings towards Denethor, I think it’s shared by pretty much everyone who has seen the movie!
I can’t watch him without flipping of the acreen or calling him a worthless SOB at least once.
As promised.
Happy New Year.
woo almost done!
Grond's flames were of the magical type, so they are not just normal, it made easier to breach through that giant gate 👌
I sincerely hope that you were able to get a seat in the theater for this series; if ever anything needed to be seen in the theater, it would be this.
Love your commentary.
Great reaction... hang in there, it'll all turn out OK in the end.
