He is or has been crazy or had someone close who was crazy. He acted like he had intimate knowledge with insanity, the way he shifts through all the emotional states feels very organic . And what a difference from the Morgan in season 1 when he was alert, stern and frightened, now he is just broken and confused.
This scene stole the season. I forgot everything else that was going on while watching this. The prison, Woodbury, hell even Michonne and Carl, even Rick and he was IN the scene! The writing, acting, score, camera work, everything was spot on for this moment.
i interpret morgans phrase of "the weak have inherited the earth" like they will always be the last ones standing, because the bad people will die by the good people and the good people will die protecting the weak people, inheriting the earth not by choice, but by beings the only ones left.
I don't think he's a psychopath. Not even in this scene. Losing your son can have that effect on you. When you feel everything is hopeless. When nothing matters anymore. I'm just glad that Morgan pulled himself out of this dark place he's in.
*Best acted scene of the entire show. James gives a tour de force of a performance here. One of the few occasions the show got an emotional reaction out of me.*
It means he doesn’t die cause he’s no good for anything… he consider himself useless, a coward, good only to “clear” , he always survives seeing the people he loves dying and can’t even kill himself.. that’s what he means
imagine if they met up: Morgan: where you been? Rick: oh i was abducted by the some New World Order type government people and forced into labor until Michonne busted me out and we toppled their regime. you? Morgan: I survived a nuclear blast.
Top notch performance from Lennie and Andrew. When these two were together on screen they both acted their ass off. This is what the last seasons missed, convincing and real dialogues and not metaphors based on confusing scripts and on top of that poor characterization in where everything felt like a parody of the first five seasons
It’s hard to believe this is the same guy who’s on Fear The Walking Dead now. Seems like a completely different man. The showrunners butchered the hell out of he’s character
Honestly Morgan should have died in S07. Negan should've batted him. Would've been a fair end to his arc. The "kill no-one" reformed character dying at first contact with Negan. They wanted to keep Lennie James around, but had no idea what to do with Morgan.
Fear the walking dead season 8 episode 6 ( all i see is red ) Just saw the episode today, and all i want to see is how Morgan can possibly reunit with the old group and possibly See Rick.

The dialogue used to be so good in this show

@@Ss0ofaa the show started to be crap after season 3.
@@breakingmirai to be fair, it really did. I recently rewatched like season 1-3 and it got really fucking boring.

Two englishmen putting on an acting clinic
It's amazing how they can do these brilliant southern American accents with ease.
so true, so good!
Amazing skills, even tho later Morgan says “water” with a tiny bit of British accent :)

How good was Lennie James in this episode, incredible actor

Hands down the best scene of the entire show with the 2 best actors. Very powerful and emotional.
Everytime I see this scene, the look on Lincoln's face at the end I can just imagine he's thinking "WOW"
poor morgan..
Yeah, heartbreaking when Morgan “and I see RED...AND I SEE RED! Everything is red! Everything I SEE IS RED AND I DO IT!”💔😢
This broke my heart and when Rick realized Morgan tried to communicate with him😭💔

probably the most emotional scene in the show at that point, the acting here is incredible

With inheriting the earth, I think he meant that he has lost all he held dear to him, now all he has left, is the world itself.
I always assumed he meant “inhabiting” the earth?
i see it more as the weak people inherit it not because they deserve or earned it, but because they are the only ones left.
