    Looks very interesting, the building must be extra strong to support the weight of all the trees as they continue to grow. and also wondering about how deep the roots can go, or what happens when the root system gets too dense.

    Marvelous. I would love to take a crack at planting an aerial food forest in one of these buildings.

    Building architectural engineering is the work of a world-class masterpiece that created the best images in history. The fantastic experience of realizing an ideal dream with the optimal ratio of buildings, forests and spaces in the trinity is our vision and heart to see. Thank you ^^ ...빌딩 건축 공학중 역사상 최고의 이미지를 창출한 세계적인 걸작의 작품이네요 건물과 숲과 틈새의 공간이 삼위일체로 최적의 비율을 둔 이상적인 꿈을 실현하는 환상적 체험이 우리가 바라보는 시각과 가슴을 설례게 합니다 감사합니다 ^^...

    My gut on this is the towers should have avoided square and rectangle shapes and embraced asymmetry or circular forms to actually capture the natural aspect and effort of it-

      @ThatFitGirl 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nature is full of squared shapes and symmetry. Besides to get something to be actually constructed typically you have to work within a concept of budget as well. I'm guessing they also wanted to layer it with specific sun angles, and that is easier done as one section and then multiplied.

    The vertical greening is a good idea in general but the species choice was poor. Far too many large trees are included which are now growing at steep angles and will become unstable for the soil volumes. Lots of plants are planted directly underneath concrete balconies and no longer green but rather, brown. The inclusion of some trees in strategic spots would be good but they could have easily eradicated future problems with wiser selection.

    So who takes care of all those plants? Do the dwellers there have strangers coming into their house every day to tend the gardens on their balconies?

    • @dooglitas
      @dooglitas 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Easier said than done. Not everyone has the knowledge to make vegetation thrive, especially in such an unnatural environment. If it was left to the residents, inside 6 months at least 80% of the vegetation would be dead or dying. It would become a towering eyesore.

    Progetto patetico. Le piante hanno una propria dignità che viene calpestata. Esse hanno esigenze specifiche che non vengono rispettate. Quante essenze muoiono costrette in un balcone di cemento in un clima cittadino che è analogo a quello desertico? Servono migliaia di euro per l'irrigazione e per il mantenimento in vita di questi vegetali: certamente non è un esempio di eco-sostenibilità. In natura esistono già specie evolute e specifiche per le situazioni verticali: i rampicanti. Quando l'ecologia diventa moda e non sostanza gli "archistar" eseguono la moda e non la sostanza.

      Sicuramente tu rispetto a chi ha premiato questo progetto,sei sicuramente più competente.Parlare di dignità delle piante fa ridere.Anche perchè in casa avrai mobili di legno e forse anche il parquet e il caminetto.Però fa figo andare controcorrente..

    Are you unable to design the facade of a building?
    Cover it with some shrubbery and flowers ;)
    You 'll kill the identity of urban landscape but half of the world 'll consider you a genius.
