Islam, the Qur'an and Science all agree that Muhammad is the Prophet Seal of Allah, thus completing the line of Prophets that preceded him. None of them failed to carry out their mission commanded by Allah, they all accomplished their mission, transmitted the Divine message, there is no divinity other than Allah and Mouhamad is His Prophet.
The message is clear: believe in the One God, His Angels, His Holy Books, His Prophets without exception and the Day of Judgment.
Science is a tool for people of knowledge to confirm the message. If you give this book to an ignorant person, he won't know how to read or interpret it. Hence the pure truth that Mouhamad did not write this book, but that it was revealed to him by Allah via the archangel Gabriel, may salvation be upon them.
