I didn’t do that when I first tried pres on nails and they all fell off very fast when I was out. Not buffing it could’ve been why Def won’t forget next time😂

@@maryam.o368 yes I do have some tips for you! so basically, our nail beds have moisture and oils in them, this makes any tacky glue become non sticky within a few hours. in order to fix this problem, we need to do a few things before putting on the nail tabs. we have to file the surface of our nails (which many ppl don't recommend so this is completely optional!) I do this though and it helps a lot, second, we have to buy a nail dehydrator. a nail dehydrator is something that dehydrates our nails and strips off any moisture, rubbing alcohol is a nail dehydrator and it works perfectly. you can also get those nail polish removers and rub them on your nails for 5-10 minutes, they dehydrate the nails as well. there are also specific products that cater to this but they are all very overpriced and def not worth it! anyway, after you're done with dehydrating your nails, you have to push back your cuticles. pushing back the cuticles helps a lot bc it uncovers more surface which makes the nails stick on better. you can also cut your cuticles but I don't recommend doing that by urself, you can accidentally cut urself so be careful! after you're done with doing all of that, you have to find a glue tab that fits perfectly on your nail bed, it shouldn't be too big or too small. when you find the right size, you're going to put on the press on nail and press hard on the nail for 1-2 minutes to get rid of any air bubbles. this should make your press ons last for longer than 2 days! :)

Also the longer the nail the shorter time they will last. So medium length nails I found last around a week maybe week and a half, long nails maybe 5 days and short around 2 weeks. Im just careful with them, never use them to open things, stuff like that.

Go over your nails with a blow dryer on hot. The tabs will melt.Before applying nails.
