PJ man, I just cut my loc’s off like 3 weeks ago, I had em for about 1 year and 6 months. I had a high top set of loc’s so my sides were always being faded with just a nr.1.5 cut down. My side as never really ripple or nothing, just my top and it’s starting to ripple on the top of the sides now, like side, but top side. I hair very similar to yours, like a 3c or 4a type hair, so corse but naturally nice ✨. I naturally have ripples in my hair and some waves, but I can’t get the sides and back to ripple and wave at all, I know it’s only been 3 weeks, I been brushing, I use 6 drops of Jamaican Coconut 🥥 black castor oil about twice a week on my whole head and it stays nourished. I was once a week and obviously apply the 🥥oil that day. I have a low taper fade like yours... I have a soft brush and a medium brush for when my hair abit longer... I wear my duu rag every night when I sleep and I brush throughout the day. this all my info Any tips man ?
If I can grow locs for 7 years , I think I have patience and discipline for waves plus I'm tired of braids and wigs at my age I want to be natural and different from most females over 50
I'm a waver the most time consuming is wash and style And yeah it is a lot of work and attention to detail but if you really a WAVER you're not gonna care cuz all the work just makes the waves look better 🌊
Facts!! I always go way longer on my wash and style than I plan too. Tryna hit them angles and have my hair laid just right before I rag up. Gotta love it tho.
