Good video, wanted to let you know that I was approved for the sensors so it's getting better. I've used the sensors for about 2 months now and it's made a major Improvement in my readings. Your videos have helped me understand some things though and I appreciate it that.
I like watching your videos. I have not found an example of the low blood sugar warnings. I need to know if it will wake me up a night when I go low. Do you know of any TH-cam examples so I get a sense of how persistent/audible those warnings are? I'm assuming it's part of the monitoring software so different per app. I'm not finding an example on the Spike app. Also I don't know if other phone warnings will all be affected (annoying if all text messages can be heard by everyone in a meeting at work or texts waking me up at night if someone texts while I'm asleep. It depends on your smartphone. For android, you have a lot of choice :) for iPhone it is basically only the Apple Watch. I have been using the Apple Watch and it works great! All the best
Is there an alarm that alerts you if your Blood sugar is low? My nurse mentioned this product might have such, otherwise I don't see what the point is? If your too lazy to wave your phone over the sensor?
Hi Nerdabetic, can you please let me know the number range you can set the alarms for. I have slow adsortion of food and would like the set a low alarm at 10mmol, as it can take round a hour for dextrose to take affect. I brought the Dexcom G6 only to find out the highest you can set a low alarm is 5.6mmol.

Hi. Yes you need to innitiate/start your sensor with your official reader or official app and scan it every 8 h to send you data to diasend. I have been doing that for a while and it works very well. And yes, i use the Spike app and LibreLink ios app on the same iphone and they work perfectly. Have a good day

It usually just peels off. Sometimes it takes a while to get it off the transmitter but i don't think its that bad. It all depends on how much you apply.

You are not only one who have this experience, I tried MiaoMiao with many expectations but all efforts make it proved unsuccessful. Even I got rashes on my skin. This is the biggest drawback of the Miao. Later tried bubble but was not happy with that, finally switched to Blucon waterproof and using it for last year without issues.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment. You can charge it when its glued to your arm. It is a bit strange but its not that bad hahah. It only takes 2 h so you can have a small book read and it is charged. And i use portable charger because it is easier but you can also use actual outlet. I hope that helps 😁

Hi. So is he the primary user? If yes then no. It is not possible to connect MiaoMiao with apple watch directly and it is not likely to be possible for a while. If you are type 1 and he is following your BGs then thats also impossible. Phone is still required. ☺️

Hi Janice. Thanks so much. You can go ahead and order. All devices sold through the website will have the newest firmware uploaded (0036). Mine transmitter has 0034 firmware and that's why I've experienced some connection issues. 0036 works fantastically with spike and xdrip. BUT: I would love and are looking for a phone-free solutions for daugthers school and sports. Q1: Which direction would you recommend if phonefree is the goal. Huawey Watch 2 3G or Apple Watch? Q2: Can bs data on both above mentioned be shared with parents either online or on app? Thanks so much. So it is not possible to do it with apple watch ( wont be for a really, really long time). It is possible with some Android watches but i am not 100% sure which. I have definilty seen this one being mentioned a lot Ticwatch E amzn.to/2m6e9x1 . Before making any buying decisions, i would defintly check facebook group called Libre Geeks. Lots of information about that there. and unsure about answer t Q2 but i think you can use Nightscout to do that by watch . Hope that helps

I heard from lots of people that miaomiao distroyed their FreeStyle Libre sensor. I stopped using it for that any a few other reasons and switched to nightrider
Hey am interested to know what you think of the libre with a miao feel on your arm Vs dexcom g6? I only ask as it seems to look thinner with the libre and miao than the g6 on its own, I am totally used to the libre on its own now and very often sleep with the libre arm at the bottom under my pillow etc. How does it feel with the miao as well? Having a freestyle libre 1, will a miao miao (or miao miao2) still enable me to send my diabetes nurse automatic reports via the libre view link meaning I dont have to manually and remember to download reports say each week but instead, its constant automatic updates sent to the hospital as I have currently?
mogsternut1 yes no problem. You only have to scan 4 times a day with the libreview app. The other apps for Miao Miao are not (due to privacy laws) able to connect to libre view.

Thanks. Yes, you can use android wear to display your values if you have an android phone. And it is reusable. And there is a program called NIGHTSCOUT. You need to set it up yourself but it is worth it.

How do i remove the wig glue??? it sort of peels off easly after a couple of days. Sometimes, its hard to remove it from the actual transmitter to apply the new layer but its manageable. 😀

I am using Blucon with FSL sensor for my mother for tracking her sugar levels and very happy with this as its very affordable and easy to use.
There’s a product called Spirit Gum that we use for latex prosthetics in the theatre that would also work. If anyone can’t find wig glue.

Yes it does but in Japanese/Chinese. So i would suggest using Spike if you want it in differnet languages

@@Ronaldsteensma thanks! I'm now using miaomiao2.. on top of the libre with xdrip running as my cgm. It's good. Virtually as accurate as blood glucose testing but must calibrate 1, 2 or 3 etc times a day depending. Currently, I'm calibrating once a day . Many thanks

Thanks. Yes, you can use android wear to display your values if you have an android phone. And it is reusable. And there is a program called NIGHTSCOUT. You need to set it up yourself but it is worth it.

How do i remove the wig glue??? it sort of peels off easly after a couple of days. Sometimes, its hard to remove it from the actual transmitter to apply the new layer but its manageable. 😀
