47:58. I understand it’s good practice to set heading bug to the final runway heading but does the plane need this to maintain approach course if AP is in appr mode on an LPV approach ? If it does, what happens in a crosswind; do you have to keep adjusting the heading?
Great tutorial as usual , would you do a circle to land approach @ PADU rwy 31 one day , I am afraid I didn't understand it very well and I am using Navigraph charts, thank you ! ❤

@ddsdss256, RNAV (GPS) approaches have a GPS system generated "glidepath" rather than an externally transmitted "glideslope." (That being said, I do have an unfortunate habit of saying something other than what I mean in my videos - even when reading off a script...) Glad you enjoyed the content. Thanks for watching!

Thx! Very comprehensive. I think you may have meant glideslope (V) when you referred to glidepath (L) a few times--easy to do (as have I).
