Looks like house was subdivided for renters. Wonderful owner kept the historic charm and detailing. Smaller furniture with simple but elegant décor touches.
I love it and think its wonderful full of personality, and simplicity. Very nicely done the little house and the tour x I particularly like the painted door in the kitchen with parts of the wood exposed, and im loving the fire place in the main living room, nice colour too. oh and the plastic water bottle behind the beautiful flowers shows the real life of the presence of every day living, 😉
Is this now converted to an Air BnB? I once stayed at a friend’s house outside Hamburg which used to be a farmhouse and adjoining stall and stables. We slept in what was once the piggery! Coming from Australia it was definitely a great experience. I loved the kitchen, sehr gemütlich and was the centre of the house.
Hey :) the bottom part partly, in the top there will be a regular apartment. It sounds like an amazing stay you had! Staying in a historic farmhouse must have been a real experience. Thanks for your support!
When you mentioned an open fire is not legal..is there no exemptions for a building of this age...if not i hope uk never implements such laws...thanks for the tour ,you are a confident well spoken presenter..
I like both the interior and exterior of this house. I love the way it is furnished too. However, I do not understand why one of the walls in the bedroom is partially painted white. If the owner paints that whole wall white, it will be less of a distraction.
Thanks for your comment! I love the outside too and the brick walls on the inside :) I think the reason why the wall looks „painted“ is because it there’s plaster that used to cover all of the bricks. And the bricks were laid free from the plaster to show through, to give it more of a rustic look :) Thanks for the support x
I believe that it is because she wanted to keep as much of the exposed brick as possible, I am in Louisiana and live in an 1970 house with brick outside walls and a fireplace also made with brick, it is by far my favorite aspect of the house, it has my heart
I love the house layout, but not the furniture. It's spread out so much that it looks cluttered. Although, I do appreciate the owner's effort to keep the charm of the house. Love the painting. Thank you for giving us the tour.
The kitchen ugly fake wood open shelves and Ikea stainless steal racks underneath do not scream vintage and charming interior. One could have updated the kitchen using discarded marble slabs as counter tops, an old stove, cooper sink, and antique plate rack shelves to truly make it charming and period appropriate.
Maybe there isn't Ikea furniture, but the shelves in the kitchen sure look like Ikea...Where do the inhabitants store things like the vases used to hold the flowers? There's no storage! Not even storage for clothing except for the rack in the bedroom which seems to have been stripped for aesthetic reasons related to this video. Besides, the "beautiful" flowers are obviously commercially produced, not grown on the property. This whole thing looks staged. Very misleading presentation!
I’m sorry but I think it’s a bit difficult to grow roses in the autumn in the north of Germany. Other than that, I know what you mean with the storage space, if the owner would have a lot of things it would really impact the design. All the best
Have you ever been in a small chalet like this? Do you prefer these small spaces or big apartments? Comment below! ✨
I like these little old houses. They are so cozy and full of stories.
Me too! Full of Secrets :))
I think this looks like an AirBNB, not a house. But cute renovation. At least the building is preserved.
I agree :) I love the fact that such an old building didnt get a complete makeover but instead the old charm was preserved.
Lovely! Wouldn't call that a chalet though, more like a cottage or town house. great tour! 😍
Thank you! 😊 Appretiate it!
I love the old house and its thoughtful renovation. Thank you for letting us see it.
Stehlampe = floor lamp
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the update with the Stehlampe :)
Das ist wirklich sehr schön geworden.
Vielen lieben Dank Helena! ♡

I can imagine that it used to be one big house :)

Glad you enjoyed it! I love the outside and the green windows, as well as the overall color palette. And I agree with the water bottle haha😉
Fabulous
I agree ! :)

Who is the creepy guy standing out the window? 2:23!!
Who do you think it is? :)

Hey thanks for your kind words! Open fire is legal but there’s a lot of regulations and it’s usually super super expensive :) all the best!

@@ivaneteroark710 I think so too! Sounds like you live in an absolutely beautiful house :)
super charming house
Yep!
yess!

I understand :) Thanks for sharing and for the support!
Super charming. Nice place to visit but not live. Daily cooking would be a challenge.
Appreciate your thoughts. I agree that it might not be the perfect place to cook a three course menu :)

I love that you’re so invested in interiors! Interesting thoughts that I like :) what do you think of the living room and sleeping niche?

What is wrong with your videos??You’re showing off the vase but you have a plastic water bottle right behind it
Hey hey midwifecrisis, good observation you made there! I’ll pay extra attention next time ♡
Gosh, how awful, that must feel like social suicide. A plastic bottle? I am devastated
