Hey that was me!! The circling on the water is due to the time it takes to manually crank the gear down and get it locked. Was a nice day to go into the river. Thanks for the great video.

One of my favorite planes! Alaka fish and wildlife flew them back in the 1970s. They were painted bright orange

I flew in the front seat of this goose in 2008 when Pacific Coastal had it. I’ve been in love with the goose since I was a kid on Catalina island. I love the arched windscreen from that art deco era in design. Glad to see she’s still air worthy!

Very nice capture!. I have flown on these into Stewart BC as a kid and into a fishing lodge in Rivers Inlet as an adult; in the front next to the pilot and in the rear most seat. Always a thrill. What a gorgeous paint job on this aircraft. Thanks for uploading this. 👍

@@eyetrapper it really is, especially here in Europa. Luckily we have a organization that still fly the DC-3 from Schiphol but apart from that we have to got to the US to really see the oldtimers
bet that would be an amazing plane to go on but also the price would be amazily high lol
