    Why is no one commenting on how badass this pilot is to do a pivot and line up perfectly so passengers can get out on the sandy beach?

    I’m always amazed at the forces the hull of seaplanes have to endure. 🤯
    I can only imagine what goes through a seaplanes pilots mind the first time they land on water at that speed.

    A tribute to the Goose. Main touchdown on hull and it took quite some time for the side pylons to contact the water.

    Nice video. I missed my only chance to fly on a Goose due to iffy weather at the destination (rainy West Coast BC). Coming from Goose-less Europe, that is.

    As someone that has pursued a pilot's license I would love to have an RV version of the GG. Okay, maybe outfitted with turboprops vs. radials but still it would be cool! Now to figure out how to hook up the toad.....amphicar maybe?

      They needed to roll in full right aileron and pull fully back (up) on the elevator, the start of their takeoff run.
      See how hard over the left wing is and the how the left float (outrigger) is buried during the first few seconds of the run?
      They did not counter all of the torque from both of the fully revved engines.
      At the 3:50 minute mark, someone corrected it but it could have been a lot worse.
      Just saying...

      1 hour flight time can be 10 hours maintenance on planes

    man what i wouldn't give to become a seaplane bush pilot! sucks that Alaska is so far away and its to cold for someone who was raised on the Caribbean

      Chalks used to fly Goose in Caribbean before they switched to Mallards.
      I got Goosed to Bimmi once in 1964

    This Goose is not a "1946" model; there is no such thing. The last one ever built by Grumman rolled off the production line in Sept. 1945. It was serial number B-145 and it was last registered in Canada as C-FUMG. This Goose, N22932, is serial no. B-139 (6th from last) and it was built in Aug. 1945. It is probably only its civilian airworthiness certification as a model G-21A that dates back to 1946, but it was originally built as a US Navy model JRF-5, Bu. no. 87745.

    Với kỹ thuật hiện đại : có thể gấp pháo khi máy bay đã cất cánh khi bay trên không: khi đáp xuống hồ để chạy : có thể chế cách quạt phía sau như tầu đệm khí có vẻ nhanh và hiện đại hơn khi cất cách thì loại cách quạt này cũng phải xếp lại được không thịt phải bọc nhìn phía trước cánh quạt giảm lực cản không khí cho máy bay khi bay trên không :. Vì là máy bay dân dụng chỉ cận tiện ích chứ đâu cần đối phó tắc chiến.,.
