hello@wolferandco.com
My boyfriend’s cousin did a photo booth guest book at their wedding and it was so much fun! You posed for 3 photos and they would immediately print out numerous copies on the typical photo booth picture layout and the couples name and date underneath, and one of those copies would be glued into the guest book with a space for you to write a message! The guests get something out of it and it’s such a fun way to remember who was there and what they looked like! Of course everyone went back multiple times and the pictures were available digitally online the next day
I’m doing that for mine too!
I saw one of those at a Bridal event last year and loved it but just got engaged recently and didn't have the contact info anymore, so hoping to see them at this year's event!
We did a hand fast but had each member of the bridal party pick the material they wanted to add that would symbolic for a marriage. For instance, one person added duct tape and said that it represented being durable, flexible and sticking together. Another did a vine of leaves to represent us growing and changing together. We had no idea what anyone picked before the ceremony but the maid of honor made sure they were all in the right frame of mind. It symbolized our intentions for the marriage and it was my favorite moment from the ceremony.
I love this idea!!!
My fiancé and I are doing a tree planting ceremony with a bonsi. To represent how a relationship grows when u feed it and give it a good environment. Plus we are vegan so plants are kinda our thing haha our party favors are little hearts you can take home to plant in soil 🫶🌳
We did wine charms instead of escort cards. It was very inexpensive (a hole punch and a $5 pack 200 of wire wine charms). We used only 1.25 glasses per guest so we spent a lot less on rentals. Everything I saw online suggested an alcoholic cup and a non-alcoholic cup per hour for each guest...which adds up fast. It was also a lot more environmentally friendly than disposal cups.
When you said "it has layers, like parfaits or ogres" I literally laughed out loud 😂😂
I’ve been seeing recently a BUBBLE MACHINE exit from the ceremony. And not like one that each guest would use or one you might get at a theme park, we’re talking a hand held super bubble blower. How fun and magical!
i want to have a bouncy house at my wedding, the make all white ones
My husband and i wanted our ceremony to be at sunset (outdoor wedding) but we still wanted to serve dinner as we had family from our of town, so we did dinner after the first look but before the ceremony and then dessert and toasts after the ceremony. We loved it it felt lile there was much less time pressure to see everyone during dinner and people were able to come in more leisurely. We also did fun thrifted wine glasses as our favors/glasses for the night.
i am doing sunset cermony & oics,,, and supper right after.
Hearing dried flowers are expensive.. meanwhile I've been slowly but surely drying pretty much every fresh flower I've come across in the past five years+ just for decor.... and planning to use them in my future wedding 👀
1. LOVE this! I want to do this with a desert bar!
2. I want to do the thank yous, It will make life so much easier to just go ahead and do thank yous at the reception. Then after just send a quick text or call to say thanks for the specific gift they got after the wedding.
3. I think having different stations they go to before they enter like advice, guest book, see our love story, past family weddings, etc
4. Im a HUGE music person and I am so excited!
5. I want my dad to do our vows and someone else that is close to us do the beginning of the ceremony
6. Love this idea!
Don’t forget you can opt for classic organ sacred music at a church. Fresh flowers are the best! I did the flower arranging for my children’s weddings and saved enough to have beautiful flowers everywhere.
A chemical engineer groom designed a chemical reaction for their unity ceremony ❤ loved it! The symbolism was all there and it was very them 💕❤️
I'm single, but I can think of a few things that have made some of the weddings I've been to memorable.
1. One of my aunties had the name cards at each table doubling up as wedding favours. They were little boxes filled with Hershey's Kisses and the boxes had our names on them. Obviously 5 year old me thought it was so cool if I still remember that over 2 decades later (5 year old me was apparently also less fussy about chocolate).
2. I've been to a couple of weddings that have had Croatian dancing and that's always pretty cool.
3. My friend who got married last year was on a super tight budget and planned her wedding in less than 3 months and for the food they did some cheeses and deli meats, pizza, cooked chooks cut into pieces, and party kebabs (like part subs but it's a wrap). Seriously, good food is memorable. It doesn't have to be fancy.
4. My uncle got married recently and he and my aunty had a gelato cart at cocktail hour. It was a destination wedding in a tropical location that's a bit hotter and more humid than my city (even though it's Australia and it's spring here), so it was great to have something to cool down with besides our drinks.
The part for a photo minute might be an idea we use. Everyone I have mentioned to that we want to have an unplugged ceremony has mentioned “oh that’s not gonna happen” “that doesn’t apply to me” “you can’t stop your family from taking pictures of you” maybe that might be a good compromise.
We're planning to have our wedding favours as table placements. So little biscuits with our guests name on them. So they have a double purpose. ❤
Just got engaged and love this video! So creative and you are hilarious ❤😂
4:35 Mad Libs is the best 🎉glad I’m not the only one who thinks this would be amazing for a wedding
Our place cards were childhood photos of us that were cut in half. The half with the guests name on it was on a table during the cocktail hour, so when people were let into the dinner space they found where they were sitting based on the matching half of the photo by their plate. I’m not sure unforgettable, but it was a fun way to show childhood photos without having an entire potentially cringey slideshow 😅
I’m saving all of the flowers given to me and drying the petals with plans to throw those
Our wedding is in a couple of days but a fun idea if it’s in your budget to rent a horse carriage & take a ride for your ceremony exit 🎠
Etsy has this cool thing where they create a computer sketch of the place where you first met. Script says "Where it all began" I am thinking about doing this on one of the tables-maybe cake table.
Haha I love you! Such a relatable person, I wish you were here in New Zealand! We are just under a year away from our day but the stress already whew I almost gave up! I've never been to a wedding and only know stuff from yt and pinterest. Having no family left is making it hard for me as I don't know who to ask advice from. I'm sure I'll get there! 😅
I will be using dried lavender all over my wedding, when tossing stuff after the ceremony and in florals. Dried lavender sheds super bad so I’ll be using the dried lavender shed and supplementing the tossing stuff.
I’m also choosing the lavender because I’m an anxious person and it helps mellow me out.
This was awesome! Great tips, Jamie.
Just what I needed ❤ thank youuuuu ❤️❤️❤️
Question Re Groom suite.... i have a pool table / Tv.s but trying to find what other games to add to an adjoining room.. was thinking of a golf simulator, air hockey, foosball or ? what would groomsmen like to do while waiting
I have always wanted to ride a horse down the aisle for my wedding day in a barn. So hopefully for our wedding anniversary.
Yes we had welcome appetizers and drinks
I love your ideas Jamie 😁 always appreciate your thoughts
I miss Temecula but yes the traffic there is a huge pain haha
If you want to do the dried flowers for the exit but it's expensive use paper hole punches❤...maybe use multiple colors for the look
Im having Irish dancers jist nefore the 1st dance and live band. There will ne plenty of sklly things jappening glow sticks bunny headbands etc.

yup , i am NOT going down the isle to the bridal march, getting married on the beach. i am thinking OUR song , or the song he proposed to....
My favorite thing I’ve ever seen done at a ceremony is ending it with worship after the couple has been pronounced as man and wife.
Love this❤
What do you think about doing a church service during your wedding
That's what we are doing kind of. It's a Sunday after service then right into the wedding then potluck dinner
We are doing a church service at 10am w coffee cake as the cake. No attendants only family. Then later in the day do a meet n greet at a brewery. Fiancé is retired military and we either have 25 people at the wedding or 500…we close the former
Please no. It's so painful to hear a full-on sermon at a wedding or funeral.
I’ve been to a very cute ceremony that was built into the service. The pastor’s sermon was about love and forgiveness
I recently saw a video of the couple doing the Parent Trap handshake at the altar 🥹 looove this, I want the Parent Trap soundtrack for my wedding too
