I’m almost at my one year anniversary, but I still love watching these! The only thing that “went wrong” in our ceremony was that our speaker went to sleep during the ceremony and we had to turn it back on for our exit song. We DIYed nearly everything, and we did not test actually pausing for the duration of a ceremony before playing the exit song. Not a big deal in the end though!
I’m actually in the process of planning my wedding for September of this year and these are really great tips I have been on your channel since before I got engaged but I felt it coming so I made sure to subscribe now that I’m in the middle of planning Ive just been watching all of your videos thank you for all your help😊
i am so excited to actually plan my own wedding one day, and all of these videos are like a bible lol. fingers crossed that my boyfriend is going to propose soon!! 🤞
So many great tips!! I hadn’t thought about the handoff & could picture it getting goofy as you mentioned it 😂 Also, shout out to Dom from the Wedding Duo as his TikToks made choosing all our ceremony music easy 🙌🏼
Had my wedding 2 weeks ago and I remembered I forgot my veil right before I was about to walk down the aisle 😅😭 my aunt put it on while I started to walk down 😢
Have your officiant tell everyone to sit down after the bride enters! If they don't, everyone stands during the whole ceremony and it is freakin' awkward!
About children in control? My son is 13 and has autism. Please any advice on who to leave our boys or girls with the night or days prepping or days and night before and like you mentioned walking down the asile and my son is giving me away. Please advice. Thank you Jamie. Loyal listener. X
I don't really think of it as being "given away". My dad didn't own me, but he was my God given protector and provider and when I get married my husband will take on that role.
The biggest one is WALKING. We found out the hard way that people don’t know what pace to walk down the aisle. Also all the groomsmen faced the WRONG DIRECTION. I couldn’t blame them, they’re men, they thought their backs to the crowd and looking at the bride and groom was correct. But no one was brave enough to fix them 🤦🏼♀️ Rehearsals are important.
Yess we’re gonna get another video! My favourite tip was talking about how everyone should stand, always thought people would just know how to position themselves as a bridesmaid/groomsman/officiant 🤍 I never got the point of rehearsal dinners but I can understand now having to rehearse the ceremony
Lol not me getting married in 3 days watching this
These wedding ceremony tips are exactly what I needed! Feeling a lot less stressed about planning now. Keep the great content coming!
To pause during my entrance to have a moment was my ah-ha moment, I like that idea and for the photo.

Dang I thought u meant a speaker as in a human being that was supposed to speak. Yikes! But I'm glad it was an electronic.
@@TEWMUCH haha!! That might have been a funny story!

For the order it’s always been height in my experience, interesting 🤔
