You're not alone. I'm turning 19 in June, I've wanted to live in NYC since at least 2017 - 2018.
"I wake up at 4:45 to 5:00 AM. The main reason I do this is because it's uncomfortable. It is not comfortable to wake up and get out of bed and walk to the gym in the middle of the winter. And we live in a world were it's very easy to be comfortable so I think we actually have to put ourselves in positions were we are now uncomfortable to grow as humans." - Erik Conover.

Your videos give me life. I kind-of feel like trying out intermittent fasting again. I did it for awhile, fasting 16 hours & being 'allowed to eat' for 8 hours while tracking my calories. It did work well. Stopped though because emotional eating came in the way. Now, a lot of things changed for the better so I might try it again. Happy Holidays, Erik!

Actually willpower has very little to do with it, it’s great for like 3 days and then it runs out and you go back to square one. I find that accountability works best, holding yourself accountable to your decisions or if possible finding someone else that can do that like a friend who’s waiting for you or a trainer etc

A day in my life of living in the city consists of me getting mad at everyone for walking too slow or not moving fully into the subway, getting cat called, trying to live off of my groceries & dealing with the humidity or extreme cold. I’m glad you make it look so amazing hahah

I saw you filming this! But I didn’t stop to say hi because-well crowds haha. I agree with doing something uncomfortable. I flew all the way out to NYC for Christmas, immerse myself into the heart of it, and had a bit of a sensory overload. But it’s all for growth!

Wow division 1 rowing?!? That’s awesome!! I love learning new things about your life before TH-cam and I firmly believe rowing is the best cardio you can do. I almost always choose to warm up with a quick 15 mins. It’s a full body workout in itself!!
