Schoenberg - Verklärte Nacht

I recently wrote the following about the early years of Orpheus and my remembrances as one of the leaders:
"My process as a concertmaster is sometimes hard for others.That first run through when I’m leading can be SO IMPERFECT because it’s about other things. It's that initial WOW that I care about. In 1989 when we recorded Verklärte Nacht we were, in my words .... of the people, free spirited, full of possibility. Very passionate, immature, dicey and difficult. Loving. Close. Intense. Evocative."
