    Burnaz wiping 2 squads of blood letters with one go... Big Shootaz blasting the tyranid monstrous creatures... If this was a dow 2, it'd be an orkish paradise. :D

    When a unit gets Charged it cannot counter attack in melee. jump packs allow for easy charges.
    Also warboss got taken out from behind - very high accuracy buff which negates evasion. Protect back arcs and flanks of your important units, especially vs. Jump packs.

      lol, litreally. I know Khorne isn't known for his smarts but that was some straight up gork level of cunning right there.

    2:22:02 AI has 100 momentum and decides to end turn rather than shoot the Big Mek. Flawless coding

    It’s honestly nonsensical that rokkits are bad against vehicles…. Like why are they even in the game then?

      The splash makes them good vs low model high armour infantry, but vs the AI this is not really a threat. Maybe has a value in multiplayer but even then I doubt it thanks to the reload thing meaning they can't attack every turn even if you keep them alive!

      I’ve found them helpful for dealing damage to infantry so other units can finish them off, but theyre not great.

    battlesector is a neat replacement for tabletop , but AI is making it unbearable ... maybe against a human player this game will shine

      Honestly it's a bit poor the AI is so bad in a turn based game.
      I get it in an RTS. That is a nightmare to programme, but in a turn based? Comeon... Giving a smarter AI and not just silly stat buffs and way bigger armies to the AI would be much nicer for sure.

      @@SenpaiTorpidDOW Like bots in SCII (alpha star and others) win players by insane optimisation in the build order , unhuman reaction time and being able to even win most counters, in turn based strategy, AI HAVE TO BE like ... Deep Blue of chess . And since this game is much , MUCH more complicated than basic chess, it is unlikely that devs would even bother to make somewhat decent AI. In fact, the multiplayer aspect is what this game really rely on. But, as mentioned, it is very WIDE game , people have to practice on bots, or campaing, and when they face more or less good player, that time spend, learning units and basic strategies, might not even work against real thinking opponent.

      @@SenpaiTorpidDOWTurn based games are much, much more difficult to make AI for. An AI wins a real time game by making mediocre decisions really, really quickly, too quickly for a human to keep up with. In a turn based game, the AI has to make mediocre decisions one at a time, and a human opponent can easily dominate by making the same number of actually good decisions. Making a competent AI for a turn based game, especially one as complex as Battlesector, would be incredibly challenging.

      @@EisenKreutzer I was thinking more RTT than RTS. Indeed AI can be very challenging in an RTS due to how fast they can do low quality APM. The actual tactics/strategy they struggle with and doing this live is even more difficult which is why in DOW2 and other RTTs the AI is completely useless.
      Still, the level of AI here is... troublingly poor. They don't have any level of target priority even when both the suboptimal and optimal target is in range, and they just randomly decide to not use things like momentum. I'm quite sure this is not difficult to programme.
