The price of commodities is decided in New York. Unfortunately for the West, many countries are willing to use swap currency arrangements which means the manipulation of the west will be limited. Morever oil produced is barely sufficient. Their military options are also limited. Any equitable trading with the west is skewed as their cost of production is multiples from the rest. The only solution is to stop all their belligerence, colonization and enslavement, which they do not believe in disowning till now.
Yeah well business wants to know make sure that they are getting their oil for the right price, so how are you going to make sure that happens? My theory goes as, the problem started when the US demanded the EU to sanction Russian oil on the promise of a cheaper alternative that’s being the GCC. The EU sanctioned but the GCC refused US calls for an oil increase, just recently the EU proposed to allocate the Saudis Asian oil share to the EU and Russian oil will make it up there, SA made it clear that Europe will pay for it at a premium price and will foot the shipping and logistics fees themselves, while Europe wants to pay the same cheap price given to India on the bases that higher prices will harm the global economy. I’m sure it’s a tactic between both SA and Russia to break the EU, as the Saudi price hike only occurred after the visit of the Russian foreign minister. That way Russia can sell India oil at a cheaper price and the US can’t complain why they’re buying it at the first place.

The United States didnt demand the EU to sanction Russia. The EU is a veto wielding high member of NATO.
