I used your puffer vest tutorial for my jersey vest… which turned out perfect! I’m going to try this one with football jerseys. Thank you so much for these detailed tutorials !!
I just purchased this pattern and watched the video. TBH, I didn't pay attention that it was a jersey to puffer. I'm wanting to make a jacket for my husband for Christmas (late gift), so I guess I'll just "wing" it and see how it turns out, since I won't be using a jersey. Wish me luck!! I'll compare his super old worn out jacket and see what I can come up with regarding a design that looks GREAT!
Love the jacket but i believe im doing something wrong here. Printed out the pattern in letter paper and taped it together because i dont have a print shop close that i know of. It seems huge and my 2xl jersey wont cover a medium pattern. Could you give me an idea of how wide this should be at the shoulders. Im at 23 inches across the back shoulders. The sleves are also too small both ways. The inch sqares measured good. Thank you
@@jamesmoore4530 2XL men’s jersey should work fine for a size medium. If it’s a women’s jersey it’s more of a challenge. The at home print method will always be a little less precise and more of a challenge but still doable. Sorry for the delay, I must have missed this comment. Make sure you are printing at 100% scale. A 2XL jersey should work great for a medium. Make sure it's a men's Jersey and not a women's as women's jerseys are smaller. Try to also open up the sleeve hems to maximize jersey fabric. Sometimes you have to get creative as every jersey is unique.
Hi, Thanks for the material, it’s very thorough. Though I’d like to know what seam allowance you used when sewing the pieces together (3/8”) and when assembling (5/8”)? Is it the same everywhere? Thanks for the feedback!

XL. You’ll want to get a jersey at least 2 sizes up from your ideal finished jacket size. You’ll need that extra material for the collar which I usually grab from the bottom of the jersey :)

@@kbjags3 of course! I’d love to see it! ✨ also for a football jersey you’ll need 2 jerseys unless you use a different material for the sleeves 😎
