Update for those watching now - I’ve since had my baby and used just about everything in this bag! The only thing I had my mom bring was nipple cream 😅 and my husband had wished we brought bigger blankets
Your videos are so comforting I’ve been binging them haha! I am not pregnant nor am I getting pregnant anytime soon but I love watching all your videos! Glad to see your pregnancy is going well 😊
Highly recommend a rolling suitcase! These are a lot of bags to carry, and dad will be carrying baby out too. Rolling suitcase will help do it all in one!
Yay!! You’re so close! The only thing I included that you didn’t mention was Frida Padsicles. They saved me to sooth everything down there after birth. But your hospital might make padsicles for you too! So excited for you!
I don’t even know what these are! I do have the Frieda mom postpartum kit so maybe I’ll check in there, I’d def rather have a little extra that I don’t need haha
@jessssalemme oh I bet your kit has them! It’s just an ice pad and it was amazing. I put that on the disposable underwear with the Tuck wipes on the padsicle and dermoplast sprayed on the wipes haha. It gave me soooo much relief.
Sleep mask is actually super great, cuz even when they DO leave you alone to sleep, they keep some of the lights on! The fan will be GREAT to have. I would suggest that you do not need to bring any actual underwear nor your own disposable. You'll want to just use theirs, trusttttt. I also wouldn't bring your own tucks pads, I'd use theirs. I feel like it's one of those things, if they've brought it to you, you're getting charged. We took the extra tucks pads, disposable underwear, pads, ice packs, baby diapers, everything. The nurses were like "listen, it's in here, it's yours, you might as well take it all" 😅
When I had my daughter , i didn't even use half of the things i brought, and I had the minimal!! Lol. I brought a long night gown to change into, but I actually really liked wearing the nursing gown my hospital provided because it was just so much easier to move around without so many layers . It also made it easy to nurse, and I didn't care if it got bloody because it's not mine to deal with afterward, lol.
That makes sense! I have no idea what the hospital actually does and doesn’t provide, I am in a birth class there though so definitely something I want to get answered while I’m going!
These are great items to pack in your bag.😃 I recommend taking a birth ball for labor, as some hospitals might not have enough or have ones that are punctured and deflated.
Thank you for the tip!! We took a birth class at our hospital and they also let us know what would be provided - a birth ball was one of those things. We also luckily live 5 mins away from the hospital so I can always send my husband back to pick up anything we really want or need!
Hi Jess 🙂 Have you watched Ashlynne Eaton's latest video all about what she is taking to hospital? At the end of the day, it's not about money, work, channel; it's all about Baby, nothing else matters. I hope you're not going to make too much noise at the hospital. Poor Chris wouldn't be able to sleep. (Just teasing 😂😂).
Jsss, you thought of everything ahead of time which is the best thing you can do. I would add 2 pairs of socks. Hospital rooms are usually cold and you might experience a fever after giving birth. The socks will keep you warm and comfortable. Another suggestion is a lip balm. You will have dry lips during and after delivery. Excited for you as the day is near 👌🏽😊💗

omg this is the sweetest comment! Thank you so much for watching my videos! 💕
This is a good reminder that I need to pack a little bag for myself!
Haha yeah you don’t want to be scrambling to get ready if we’re in a rush! I did make you a mini list at the end of this video though 😘
@@jessssalemme What would I do without you 🥰

I thought about this after I bought the Amazon bag… so looks like Chris is going to be doing multiple trips 😬
Time is FLYING by! Can’t wait for baby girl to get here💕
coming so soon!🥹

Hahaha that is fair. Good to know! And I’ll definitely be bringing the sleep mask then!

Thank you for the tip!! I’ll definitely throw a few more pairs of socks in my bag! And I have Vaseline packed for my lip balm! 💕
Have you decided on a name yet?
Yes we have a name picked out! 🥰 it’ll be announced at her birth!
Socks for baby. Those teeny toes get cold fast. And lanolin nipple cream.
I do have socks in the bag! Noted on nipple cream!
Don’t make a kid because it costs like $100,000 dollars from 0 to 18 years
This is too much
