Brave and hungry diners have just one hour to finish their Gastro Viking Chicken Sandwich: a massive pretzel bun loaded with chicken tenders, salad, and jalapeno mayo. Along the way, you must also finish nearly a kilo of their loaded chicken fries. Winners earn their meal for free, a groovy hat, gift cards to the restaurant, and a spot up on The Gastro Truck's Wall of Fame!!!

After reading all of these comments, I think you've lost a lot of respect from your followers with this video.
You're very good at eating challenges, no one can take that away from you but don't treat your fans like fools.
No matter how you edit this video, it's clear to see you went over the 60 minute time limit - if chipmunking wasn't allowed.
• The heads up from Randy at 55:55,
• You dipping the timer to press it as you threw your head back.
• Covering the timer and then putting it in your lap.
• Checking the timer while thanking the crowd and only then showing the timer.
All of this is out of the norm for you to do.
It's no surprise you could barely look up at anyone.
I mean no one died. . .but I think you'd gain some respect back by owning what you did.

I love all your videos!!! But I am going to have to call out or ask about the hidden timer at the end which you and Randy never do. 🤔 Seems like between editing and you covering the timer and placing it in your lap befor showing it something fishy could have happened. That being said, I do not know the restaurant rules; meaning if you just have to have the food in your mouth or completely swallowed by the end of time. Once again big fan , just wondering.

100% she cheated. She took the timer away like she has never done before and stopped it right on time. You know she didn’t get it and hid the time.
She also covered her face so you couldn’t see her chewing still.
I’d say she was over by 3 seconds.
She had 2 seconds to swallow and hit 60:00 dead on when that woman counted. And it took her 5 seconds minimum. and not mention she cut the end clips about 2 times at least? once when she swallowed. and covered the timer at 59:58.. Another when she grabbed the fizzy to drink which apparently took her 6 seconds to raise it to her mouth. time must go by mad slow in Iceland? and why are you cutting clips at the end youre supposed to show your fans you’re done. 1 full clip or atleast don’t cut it at crucial times.. and next time you buy your prize don’t sit it on the table beside you 😂😂😂 and isn’t anyone going to mention the 4lbs of salad on thing? I finally watched the end of the video, to see the "terrible cheating" scandal, you guys are exaggerating so much, lol. Yes, her hands where trembling when she tried to stop the timer, so, most likely she pressed the button after the hour mark, and the food wasn't swallowed completely. But number one, this is a hobby, not an olympic sport, and the owners clearly considered the challenge complete, we're talking about seconds here, and both the audience, and the owners, know that she would've swallowed it under the hour mark, without the talking that she does, because this is a YT channel, and she's supposed to entertain the audience while she eats.
Yes, she finished seconds after the hour mark, but this "challenge" was imposed by the owners, they make the rules and decide how flexible or not they want to be. If I was the owner, I would've considered it a win as well.
This isn't an olympic sport, it's a private hobby, and the rules are decided by the owners of each restaurant, not an olympic comitee, lol.

I just watched this and am wondering if she ever addressed why she did this. When you see someone do something so absolutely dishonest you are forced to question everything they do. Like Viking explorers, Katina and Randy are in Scandinavia pioneering new food challenges. And, in true Viking spirit, Katina is undaunted by size and potential spiciness. Well. Mostly undaunted 😅. But Vikings were definitely fans of cutting their opponents up into manageable portions. And on not letting a little thing like being full get in the way of a feast.
