COSTA RICA: PACUARE RIVER RAFTING

In 2014 I took this trip. For $100/pp you got transportation to and from your location, breakfast, lunch, training and of course the raft trip itself. And when I say transportation I mean the literally pick up from hours away and can drop off in a different town or city. If you book right you can check out of somewhere on the Caribbean side, get picked up for your day of rafting, and be dropped off somewhere like Arenal (middle of country). The value proposition is unreal. Great staff, great food, and the most beautiful river I’ve ever seen.

best river ever, i have done it many times and the over night option is amazing. 100% recommended. Rafting World Championship 2011 was run here. Horizontes nature tours organize amazing adventure packages.
