- Each of these is as functional as the other, and are of a size that has been used world wide by smiths going back millennia. Hopefully this gives you some ideas for the #forgecastcompetition which runs all of June, check out the ForgeCast on Spotify, iTunes, Instagram, and Facebook for more details of how you can enter, and win!

I used two different types of editing styles in the video, let me know if you prefer sped up, or just small excerpts at standard speed!
Both styles have an application i reckon.
Curious though. In the high speed clips, the volume is preccieved to change. Audio annomily im sure. Is there a way to adjust that in the editing process? Otherwise its all good to me as s cell phone watcher. Id reckon some who use buds or earmuffs may fuss.
🙏 Blessed days now and well wishes Sir

I liked the sped up version
They came out nice. Makes me realize that I can do more with what little equipment I have.
They look good definitely prefer the last two!
Nice tools with some pretty handy application. Very portable. Thanks for sharing
🙏 Be well my friend and blessings to you

Thanks mate!
Good stuff! Especially how you did the horn. 🙂⚒
Thanks!
All the three anvils look cool. But loved the second one and also how you made the horn of third anvil. Great video enjoyed a lot👍👍👍👍
Nice job mate. Now im wanting to make one.. thanks... ha ha ha
Looks like viking age anvils.:) I'd like to try to forge somthing like this on my channel someday. Cool video. Thanks for sharing.
We need a go fundme.!!! Sam needs a new shirt. Poor guy,... Or is that ventilation? Good stuff😜🤟 Making tools is what got me into smithing. 🔨On!!
Awesome job Sam! Any suggestion on type of steel to use for the anvil? I am thinking Mild wont hold up?
I appreciate the sped-up video when grinding; no need to see that in real time unless there's something tricky going on.
Awesome video again Sam, btw what was that 1st anvil in its previous life? looks like a massive mine truck wheel stud or something
It's an offcut from a threaded bar used on the mines, not sure what for haha
Oh it's on now
Bring it
Oughta be fun to see how you get it done Alex
I e Sam, you mentioned forgecast again, what the hell is that? Have had notifications pop up but my stone age computer skills go down to the pub from that point on! Beer is easier to understand!
The forgecast is a podcast that is run by myself and another Australian blacksmith, where we talk blacksmithing, tools, techniques, and occasionally we have guests on to interview. You can find it on the Spotify app, or on the iTunes store
