- Hello! Hope you're having a nice Autumn day so far! In this vlog, I spent the day making cute embroidery cat plush magnets! The cat designs are from a book by Nekogao that I recently bought! It's got 2 things I like: cats and embroidery! I also got other craft books as well so I shared a little preview of each book! To end the day, I did some organizing with my granny squares and yarns that I've been really trying to to finish and put together! If you like embroidery, sewing, crafting, and DIY at home, I hope you will like this video!

***Video Edited*** Hello everyone! I'm really sorry but I had to edit and remove a portion of the video that shows me flipping through my new craft books. It has come to my attention that showing contents of the craft books could cause copyright issues. I thought it was ok to show a few pages but that might not be the case. So to avoid any potential problems, I have removed that part of the video that shows me sharing my new craft books and flipping through them. I'm really sorry for causing any inconvenience and disappointment that may have caused. 🙏😞
Hello,
I'm so sorry you had such issue.
But please, would you be so kind as to give all the references?
There were 2 that I wanted to buy...and now I won't be able to find them. 🥺
Thank you so much for your help, truly.
And thank you for this amazing video. 💗
Greetings from France!
That's such a shame. I didn't realise a little glimpse wouldn't be allowed.
Dang, I missed it! 😂 But cute video, thank you for sharing it with us!
Kiko, these little cats are so cute and tiny. You are so patient, I love all your makings! Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much for watching!! 🐱😊
My favorite Saturday past time is watching your videos! ❤😊
Mine too! Great way to start the day.
Mine too & I often am stitching too while I watch!
Thank you so much for watching! 🐱✨
Vous êtes mon moment de détente de début de week-end
Trop mignon ces petits chats parfaits😍
I love your work. A suggestion, a light pad will enable you to trace your design directly on the fabric. They are not expensive. The other option are Sulky iron on transfer pens. Hope this is helpful. Thank you for sharing.
You are so talented. You are such an inspiration and so relaxing atmosphere. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for watching! 🐱❤️
I love the little cats. They are so beautiful. Each one has its own character super cute. See you next week.xxx❤

The cats are so cute! I went back to rewatch the flip through of the books as there were so many beautiful things to look at.
Thank you so much for watching! I love looking through craft books, lots of inspirations and fun ideas! ✨
Dear Kiko,
Thank you so much for your video! Now you have beautiful cats on the board! ❤❤❤ I'm looking forward to finishing the project with a blanket very much.
Best regards, Tatiana
You are so precise with your craft. Very talented. I absolutely adore your cat magnets. Thankyou for another wonderful episode 🤗 xx
Beautiful stitching. May I share a tip with you? I noticed that when you separate 6 strand floss you are doing it the hard way. Try holding the 6 strands near the end between your thumb and index finger of your left hand. Then tap the top end of the floss with the index finger of your right hand to make the ends of the floss "bloom" out and separate so you can see each strand. Then, while still holding all 6 strands snugly in your left hand, grab one isolated stand and pull it up and put of your left hand. It will come out smoothly. Don't worry if the remaining floss in your left hand appears to bunch up as you do this. It will smooth right out by smoking it down with your right hand once the strand is removed. Repeat for each additional strand you want to use. Then hold your removed strands even at the end and give them a stroke to combine them. You will get better coverage and less tangling with these recombined strands too!
Thank you very much for watching and sharing the tip! I'm gonna have to try this! 😊

I purchased two of Ms Higuchi's books after your recommendations in the last video.
I can't wait to start on some projects.
Thank you so much for watching!! I'm so glad to hear that! Her designs are all so pretty! Hope you'll have lots of fun embroidering! 🧵🪡
I really love all your books - I love the japanese style of embroidery & crochet. Thanks for sharing❤️
Thank you so much for watching! I love them too! They're very inspiring and fun to flip through! ✨
Que cosa tan dulce, me encanta y me has dado una gran idea 💡. Gracias por compartir 😊
Che meraviglia i tuoi libri ❤❤❤guardarti è così bello e rilassante ❤❤❤bravissima 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
They are so adorable 🥰
everything you do is so perfectly lovely its overwhelming at times, id like to have all your talents in an instant, great work
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words!! 🙏✨
I think your cats are so pretty! Thank you for making wonderful videos!
Thank you so much for watching!! ❤️
These are so so cute 🥰
Cute cats.Too bad you don't want that colour in your blanket it's a beautiful colour, and it can go with green. But I am sure it will turn out great what ever you choose
Ohhhhh these lttle nice cats, really lovely, very nice and cute, and how ever perfectly done, you are a really artist❤
Thank you so much for watching! The instructions were very easy to follow. I'm glad they turned out well! 🐱✨
😱😱 Wuauuuu Kiko....son preciosos 👏👏😘🤗♥️
Thank you so much for watching!! ❤️
I was thinking that you could have put the magnet pieces on the inside against the back of the kitty. :D
Adorable
Hello 👋. I am sorry you could not share the books. When you share them it lets me purchase here in the states. I have quite a few and have crafted from them. Made some beautiful projects.
Kilos hola, todo hermoso 😊
Your embroidery work is extraordinary!!❤. I noticed that your fabric inside the hoop is not taunt. It has a lot of movement. Do you prefer it this way? I did cross-stitch work long ago and preferred a taunt work surface.
I love all the techniques you share and lovely as always. I’m wondering if you do any kintsugi in addition to fiber arts?
❤❤❤❤❤
Книги Юмико Хигучи изданы на русском языке. У меня в библиотеке три книги - две, такие же, как у вас. Мне они очень нравятся. ❤❤❤
Super❤❤❤
I would love to find to crochet book...can you link it?
It’s linked in the description box.
@@GodzHarleyGirlStudio The cat one is, not the crochet one she was showing.
I did a little fumbling, and if you google “The best way to understand crochet stitch motifs and motif connections book” that should work :)
@@VultureSkins Thank you
Nice ❤❤
The cat plushies turned out so cute :D I would love to make a granny square blanket again but I'm afraid that it will take me years. Your squares are very pretty, do you have a link to the pattern?
Enjoy you channel every week! I’ve never used carbon paper for embroidery design transfer. Could you share more information on which type of carbon paper best for fabric & is it water soluble too like the Sewline marker? Thanks
Whoops! I should have waited to comment as you found out the carbon paper didn’t work so well. I too have use the product you ended up using.
Good morning Kiko, thanks for another lovely video!
I love that deep dusty rose color on the granny squares. I would maybe see if they look good together with the green because I think they might. You could always do something else with them too. The cat magnets turned out really cute!
I really like the Japanese Sashiko books too. I ordered one before due to your recommendation. I’ve been thinking about getting an embroidery one, but am concerned that the pictures won’t be enough for me to see how to do the pattern since I can’t read the instructions. Do you think the pictures are self-explanatory enough in the embroidery ones?
When are you getting your cat? Are you still planning on it?
See you next week!
Thank you so much for watching!! The embroidery books I got by Higuchi Yumiko comes in English versions and they're on Amazon if you're interested! I have the Japanese versions and I did find myself using the Google translate app on my phone in the beginning for a few things I didn't fully understand. But in general it's not bad. The new book by Yula, I have yet to look at the instructions so I don't know yet 😊 I'm hoping to get a cat soon! I just bought a cat tree 😅 have a wonderful week!! ✨
🥰💖💖💖
Instead of attaching the magnet on the outside, it might have been nice to insert it inside so that it is not visible.
I thought the same
guessing it doesn’t have enough magnetism to stick through cloth 😺
🐱🐱🐱❤❤❤
For the kitten face, do you have a light box?
😍😍😍🙏🏾
I would love to make some cats from the nekogao book but since it’s in Japanese I wouldn’t understand the instructions. I wonder if they also make an English version?
I think they do. Someone mentioned they made a Russian version.
I have a request not related to this video. Would you mention or link
the tabletop embroidery hoop that you use or like. The hoop that gives you hands free help. Thank you.
🇦🇺🙋🏼♀️
Another great video. Thank you 😁 What stitch did you do your hanging baskets from?
It’s linked in the description box of that video.
Thank you... didn't realise 😁
I am sure it is ok to show the fronts of the books
🐱🐱🐱💜💚💜💚🙏

Thank you very much for your comment and concerns! 🙏 I didn't think showing some pages of the books would have copyright issues. Some people have asked in the past if I can share the patterns or instructions with them and I always reply that I can't and if they are interested, please purchase the book. I thought that was enough. Maybe I'm showing too much of the book's contents? I never thought that could be a problem. I think I will have to be more careful in the future to avoid any problems. Thank you for bringing it up! 🙏
