What a gift - so lovely to have a spouse who pays attention to your interests! (Me too - mine gave me both Lightfasts and Luminances for Christmas, after I pointed out a deep sale on Lightfasts.) Beautiful books, thanks so much for sharing and enjoy ❤😮
Ooo what fab gifts! Enjoy them! 🥰
These books are cute. I might have to buy a couple of them. By the way, on your phone go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout - and change to your preferred time so that your screen won't turn off so quickly
Ooo thanks! P.S. love you user picture! 🐸
Super selection, These are all beautiful books. I still haven't got the squirrel one, but I think you might have tempted me!😉😂 Thanks for showing them, x
How do you buy them, it's different money, Thank you x
@@deborahjane68 Add to cart as usual, I normally check an online cash converter to see how much I’m spending, I pay on a credit card, it will convert the currency for you.
Yep, same as what I do too!
It was funny to hear you reading danish in a Japanese book 😁
It actually took me a minute to realize. Only when you said “what is that?” And I knew did I realise it 😂
Japanese books in general are just super cute. I love so many of them but this year i'm trying to not spend money on books and just using what I have. I'll keep some of these in my wishlist.😉
Haha that was my plan too. These have been saved in my Amazon basket for 6 months or more...!
Hi Lilly they are beautiful books I have all of them but not the last one.. the seasonal wreath is on it’s way from Amazon.. I have a good amount of Japan Amazon colouring books I think they are all so cute I recently got Eriys new book 2 days ago it’s a beautiful book.. I’ve got another book in my cart on Amazon Japan as well.. ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx
How fab Kylie! What lucky duck you are! The books are not too expensive to buy, but the additional shipping to the UK cost bumps the price up. Its always better to buy more than 1 at a time as the shipping doesn't cost much more for the extra books. I shall take a look at the new Eriy! 🥰
Lovely books 📕
Fun goodies
Lovely books I’ve just recently got the squirrel book think I’m going to get the wreath book soon thank you for sharing 😊😊💖
Such lovely books thanks for sharing them with us.
I had all these except for the wreath one which is yuri mouse so cute I like that one I gave mine all away kept few pages out of each. Do like Yuri wreath one. Enjoy colouring 😘
Wow. Where do you buy yours from? Amazon Japan or Etsy? There's likely only one here that I won't keep (the one with the big cat head 😆)
@@ArtJourneyUK Etsy where I bought mine, yes I didn't like that big chunky one either gave my lot to my friends kids. But the postage is same price as books now!!
@@crossstitchbutton yeah I saw that. Through Amazon Japan, the postage on this order was £23 for the 7 books
Japanese xoloring books are so charming ❤ Happy new year!
They really are, lovely images, lovely paper!
These are beyond cute ☺☺
Cute books. I like the wreath one the best. I am glad I really don't need any more books though.....
Haha I don't either! I'm not sure I would have bought them myself as I'd had some of them saved in my basket for many months!
Lovely pressies Lily have ordered the wreath book look forward to seeing you colour them
It's a nice book isn't it? Enjoy it Sue! 🥰
Beautiful books. Thanks for sharing
Hi Lily beautiful books and so adorable. 😊
what a nice haul and what a super sweet husband! I have the squirrel book (which I have coloured two pictures in already ! ) and the kitty fairy tales (now I want the other kitty one, lol ) I also have the Mouse one and it's adorable too but I agree with you, I like the style of the Squirrel one the best. More finished.... Thanks for sharing and happy colouring!
Yes, that's it, more finished! It's interesting that the books seem like a series, but by different artists.
Yes, the books seem to be grouped, don't they! I remember trying to find the artists name to order the next book and being so surprise that the name was different...... I wonder if they're going to have more.... lol(as if I need ANY more) 🤣
@@ArtJourneyUK
@@lovetobecolouring2 I don't need any more either... I have Yuri the mouse and the Teddy one on my shelf already!
Thx for showing those. I looove that squirrel book! If only shipping wasnt so high!
I was told, and tested the idea, and found it true that if you order more than one book , the shipping comes down. So for me(canada) to order two , makes each book only about 30$ CD(this includes shipping) . Otherwise, just one is close to $50.
@@lovetobecolouring2 that's the same here in the UK. One book and the shipping is £18, two books, the shipping is £20. So its worth buying a few and the shipping price doesn't increase much making the cost of the books more reasonable
@@ArtJourneyUK I put 7 books into my cart, starting checking out. The shipping is as still abt as much as the books. $150 total. Cant do that.
@@leslieladyhawke wow that is really high. 😮
The shipping cost to the UK for the 7 books was £23 which added about £3ish to the price of each book. The books were between £6 and £8 each, so ended up being between £9 and £11 with shipping (less than a Johanna Basford book here in the UK!). Whereas, if I buy just one book (just tried it) the shipping is £17.50 for one book (double the cost of the book itself!). I'm surprised that the postage doesn't reflect the items being sent together over there.
@@ArtJourneyUK Strange shipping would be less to the UK. Maybe it goes mostly by land that way. 🤷♀️
beautiful...I love the domings book its lovely to colour in
Isn't it lovely! Hubs did good 🥰
@@ArtJourneyUK He Definitely Is, Got You Some Lovely Books.
Lovely Christmas present xx
It was! He had to dig around because I told him there wasn't anything I wanted 😆
I love the look of these, especially the cat keys and seasonal wreaths? How do you set up a Japanese Amazon account and what’s the shipping/taxes like?
In the UK, no taxes on books. The shipping on these 7 books was £23 for all 7. The shipping on 1 book can be £17-£18, which is really high but it doesn't go up much more when you add more books, so definitely worth waiting until there are a few you want.
If you have a UK / US Amazon account, you can just switch country on the app and shop on the Japanese website with your existing account.
Interesting, I always hear really good things about Japanese art and stationary supplies but it’s finding them and getting them shipped. I may have to try this at some point
Hi Sweetie, Have You Done A Video Of The Decotime Pencils You Bought? Hope The 3 Of You Are Well? Xx
I haven't.. yet 😆
@@ArtJourneyUK😢 Please Please Please Do 1, I Have Been Really Poorly Last Few Days There Is A Bug Going Round, Yay Me I Caught It 😢, Xx
Aw, you've got the wrong link for the last book, never mind, I'm on a no-buy anyhooooo lol
Those are all beautiful books, wonder how long they will remain uncoloured? They'd still be pristine on the day I died if they were mine 😂🥰
Is this one right:- amzn.asia/d/cNMKgi5
I have started a page in the wreath one, so... yay me 😆
You're a braver woman than I am, I get put off buying some books as I know I'd be too chicken to colour in them xx@@ArtJourneyUK
@@purplelorain6180 ah they're only paper. And you'd be OK, your girthy Japanese pencils would work amazing in them 🥰
Mr B chose some cracking books there! I love the Japanese books too, but I have put myself on a self-imposed no book buying ban for a while until I work in my current ones more 🤞🏻 but I reallly love that new Makiko Inatome book…..🙄
