How did people prayed before the rosary arrived? Why is repetition in prayer needed? When we read the book of Psalms in the Old Testament we can see how people like Moses, David and Asaph prayed and we don't find repetitions all the time. So why is the rosary so powerfull? Does the Lord need repetition because He has already forgotten what we asked Him for?
They did repeat prayers. Look at the repitition in Jewish prayers now. Typically, you’d pray every psalm on a bead. Now we pray the rosary and meditate on Christ’s life. Christ quoted the psalms. The Old Testament is fulfilled in him. When you pray a scriptural rosary you can use the psalms or Old Testament scriptures as well as the new ones to meditate on the part of his life. You can meditate on how Jesus fulfills it. Example, reading a scripture about God providing the sacrifice for Abraham and Isaac while meditating on Christ’s crucifixion.

I began praying the rosary daily after separation in 2021 in the midst of the pandemic, after picking up the Bible. I thought I'd give it a try, because I had never learned to pray at all before, didn't know how to, having been atheist and agnostic, although I had been baptized catholic as a baby, I was totally ignorant. It took about 20 days and it led me to the first confession of my life, at 39 years old, and I have never stopped praying it since. Blessed be the name of Jesus. Salve Maria.

I wish I would have leaned into my rosery after my father's death. I was an avid rosery prayer amongst many other prayers daily. I went into a long desolation after my dad's death. It's been 3 years and I am slowly coming out if it. Pray for me. 😊

I am 36 years old originally from India living in Belgium... I have been praying rosary since I was 5 years old.. Through Mary i am in love with Jesus since my childhood.. All i have is Jesus, Almighty father holy spirit, mother mary, Joseph and all our Angel's. But few days before i started feeling like am i supposed to pray Rosary because i heard something like we should only pray to Jesus not to mary and praying to mary is like idol worship.I was little confused and sad.😢.I strongly believe that my mother mary she understood my heart and my thought.. That is the reason i am watching this program within few days of my confusion.. I feel like crying that i did the right thing.. Thank you Jesus and thank you Guy's.. God bless you all..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wanted to pray the family rosary every day and because of one thing or the other I couldn't achieve it. In 2014, I consacrated myself to Our Lady, and since then, we have been praying the rosary every night!!! 🙏
I never tire of hearing Gabe's story. It gives me hope for the conversion of my husband and my 2 sons. I'm concecrating them to the Blesssed Mother. We recently had the relic of St Jude's right arm in our parish. Fr Martin's reminded us that this arm embraced Jesus every day that he was with Him. It so moved me that I went 3 times to venerate it. God is so good and generous. He gives us his own mother, the saints, & the angels to help us. We are never alone in this journey. Praise & Glory to God!
I truly and highly believe in the Power of the Holy Rosary. I am living my Life with it. I will continue to devout my life praying it until the day i die
Please get the Holy Ghost and throw that away Do what Jesus did to go where JESUS WENT AFTER DEATH THIS WORLD is deceiving esp catholic faith. It’s not of GOD.
Wonderfully. Everyone who persevers and prayes the rosary is infused with the holy spirit and receives many graces peace and love in their lives. People of other faiths who insist its evil are so arrogantly dismissing a grace given to our church by the mother of GOD!
1:01:39 I used to be completely caught up in New Age & God brought me out of all that and more into the Catholic Church despite none of my family being Catholic. He is definitely still winning souls and I’m praying for the generations growing up via screens and outside the traditional family structure to be led to the way, truth and life of our Savior! Keep going Gabe - you helped me start praying those rosary and the changes in my life are astounding already, I can’t wait to see what a lifetime of Hail Mary’s will bring. Thank you Lila for your podcasts, they are some of my absolute favorites and so encouraging!
Sooooo important what this discussion is all about. I've been Catholic all my life and never prayed the Rosary but at funeral Rosary ... until 6 months ago. and if you get the feeling to pray it, do IT!----also it helps with depression or anxiety our Ever Virgin Mother Mary loves us so much, she is always with us--and with her help we will be with Jesus--thru Mary to Jesus, and thru Jesus to out Father. Amen.
I love Gabi. He convinced me to renew my consecration, pray the rosary daily, get enrolled in the brown scapular, and really brought Mary to me. I love his videos and he’s a role model for me and how I promote the rosary. The rosary has the power to save souls, it just needs to be prayed enough.
The Rosary is the most MIRACULOUS and beautiful prayer! Thank You, Lord Jesus, for the Rosary and for Mary's intercession. Thank You for Your Real Presence in the Most Holy Eucharist.
My first memory of rosary is sitting on the floor with my whole family looking at the image of Hail Mary as a 3 year old without much idea of the prayer going on. My mom told me that Mother Mary would love and protect me no matter what. Throughout my life I have experienced her protection. Every time I stray away from Jesus, she just brings me back to him. She never let me leave Jesus no matter how far I left from church. Now me and my husband sit together every night with our 2 year old son praying rosary believing that she’s gonna protect him throughout his life.
@@Dienekes678 cause you know me so well. You disagree that pride is a sin? What exactly about my statement was ironic? Maybe you’re confused about the definition of irony?
@@Dienekes678 How do you even know I’m a Protestant? Do you disagree with my original statement? It’s not a good practice to make sweeping character judgments like that. It’s also not a good practice to respond in haste according to those presumptions. What makes you think that the main reason people reject the Catholic Church is specifically pride? Most Protestants I know keep pride out of their faith. There’s nothing to be “proud” about as a Christian. None of us deserve the grace and mercy we’ve been given. And how narrow really is the path of Catholicism? It’s the largest religion on the planet at a whopping 1.3 billion members. The pope also just said that even Muslims are included in God’s plan of salvation. Doesn’t seem all that narrow to me.
I pray a mystery of the rosary every night with my 5 year old with autism and I feel like I have to tackle him some nights and hold him down to do it. And our “decade” is part jiujitsu and only consists of 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary, 1 Glory Be and I’ve seen absolute miracles happen. I’m a single mom and recently divorced. I can’t believe how much we’ve felt God with us and the miracles that happened so that we landed on our feet.
"Gabe is now focused on guiding young people toward a richer understanding of God’s love." I just turned a young 53 last month and Gabe is one of the reasons I have a deeper understanding of the rosary and of my Catholic faith.

His story is my story and a lot of other people’s as well. I was praying, going to Church, volunteering, doing charitable works, etc. But for some reason didn’t connect all of this with my evil life. I was living in mortal sin and didn’t really know. I thought everything was normal for some reason - unexplainable. OMGosh his story is just so common with a lot of us today. I thank God and the Holy Mother everyday for not abandoning me and saving me. My guardian angel was beside me all the time. 🙏

She was saved and I deeply believe that all the prayers from friends and family (including lots of rosaries) and St. Padre Pio's intercession saved her.
Thank you very much Gabe❤🙏. I really liked listening to you. Because of you explaining the Rosery, I praying four Roserys a day. It is amazing 🎉. God bless you and your family ❤
This was a joy to watch! I'm in day 14 of Gabi's Consecration to Mary and am so grateful the Holy Spirit guided me to him and his platform. It's a blessing to hear what other parents are doing with their kids to keep them active in the faith!
Good morning, Lila! Thank you for continuing to put timestamps and, especially thank you for sharing Gabiel's journey! I just heard the opening regarding fathers, and if it means anything, I'm really sorry for those lacking fathers, and please know God the Father loves us all more than all fathers, great ones and lousy ones, could ever combined, and He will Always love us, and never abandon us. And I pray to Jesus through the intercession of Saint Joseph (patron saint of fathers, the Universal Church, unborn children, a happy passing away, immigrants, workers, and travelers.) daily. Hope you enjoy this prayer! I don't say this one daily, but I think it's a good prayer! A Prayer to St. Joseph, Defender of Life Dearest St. Joseph, at the word of an angel, you lovingly took Mary into your home. As God’s humble servant, you guided the Holy Family on the road to Bethlehem, welcomed Jesus as your own son in the shelter of a manger, and fled far from your homeland for the safety of both Mother and Child. We praise God that as their faithful protector, you never hesitated to sacrifice for those entrusted to you. May your example inspire us also to welcome, cherish, and safeguard God’s most precious gift of life. Help us to faithfully commit ourselves to the service and defense of human life -especially where it is vulnerable or threatened. Obtain for us the grace to do the will of God in all things. Amen Matthew 20:21 Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Be back!
So amazing. God bless you both. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to hear your conversation. It’s almost 1 am and I should be tired but I’m just inspired and am about to pray the rosary… as much as I can before letting my guardian angel finish it for me. :-)
This is so true Gabe! My uncle had a great devotion to Mary through rosary when he was a kid and student but then got lost for many years due to different life circumstances but Our Lady never has left him and end the end of his life made a confession from his life and came back to his Catholic faith and didn’t die without last sacraments . My mom prayed for him many many years and was always saying we have to pray to Our Lady as she never lets us down . My mom believes that Mary brought him back through many rosaries he prayed as a child and young man. Thank you for your beautiful testimony!❤🙏
I also grew up without a father, single child, it impacted every part of my life, everything you said is true... it has more impact that some people might think. I converted in high school after God the Father touched my heart and I started realizing He loves me and He made me. Thank you for sharing your testimony
The purpose for each Lay Catholic Christians is first to PRAY . Pray to God in thanks giving. Pray for the departed souls in purgatory. Pray for your priest, bishop and the Pope. Your family, the sick, the lost in sin, etc, etc, etc. you should never have a day without an intention or one will present itself to you from the Holy Ghost! Great work both of you !
iI love your channel it's inspiring and spiritually uplifting ..You represented Catholics impressively not only by words but with deeds.I trully believe God will bless you and your family thousandfolds.
I love Gabe’s channel. He helped me get over my lifelong reservation with fully loving Jesus’s mother and praying the rosary. I was really hoping he’d mention the elephant story 😂😂😂 i crack up whenever he talks about it, just throwing away all his mom’s little elephant figurines because he was so gung-ho on destroying anything that seemed new-agey. I honestly don’t blame him but I can’t help but chuckle at that anecdote every time 😂😂😂
This did not disappoint - many thanks to you both. To the point about abortion and "skin in the game," while our human lives aren't directly implicated, our lives after death are. ... We will not be judged only on the sins we did or did not commit. But on the good we could have done and did not do (sins of omission). The only thing necessary for evil to take hold is for good men to remain silent. God bless, Ave Maria.

Consecrate your family to Mama Mary and they will convert!😊
“When people are suffering is the perfect time to promote the rosary”. Amen!
Tammy Peterson is the PERFECT example
DAD DIED, NOW MOM IS IN THE ICU, PLEASE CATHOLIC 🙏 FAMILY PRAY FOR US,AS I DO FOR YOU, THANK YOU, GABI, AND LILA 🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m sorry for your loss. May your Dad rest in peace. 🕯️
May Our Lady and St. Joseph cover your Mom with their mantles of protection. ❤️🩹
The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. 🕊️
@Therese-1001 Amen, thank you. 😊
@ YW! How is Mom? Is she still in ICU?
I was saved through the rosary. I will forever be grateful bc Mother Mary brought me closer to her son ❤
I am so glad that you interviewed Gabe! His consecration to Our Blessed Mother made a huge difference in my spiritual life. He is the real deal and I am so glad that the Lord is using him to evangelize. Young people like Gabe and Lila are helping so many older folks like me.. this is “the New Evangelization “ Thank you!!❤🙏🏽
The rosary during lent season brought me home!
God bless you all..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
1,000 upvotes! May God bless and guide you and your loved ones.
That is a common misconception, Protestants just repeat what they have heard.
The rosary is a game changer for your life
I wanted to pray the family rosary every day and because of one thing or the other I couldn't achieve it.
The rosary is incredible ❤
I truly and highly believe in the Power of the Holy Rosary. I am living my Life with it. I will continue to devout my life praying it until the day i die
Have to stop half way through to pray the Rosary 🙏🏼💕
I started praying everyday the rosary when the pandemic started. It was my weapon against the covid. Until now I'm put my rosary under my pillow.
Please get the Holy Ghost and throw that away
Do what Jesus did to go where JESUS WENT AFTER DEATH
THIS WORLD is deceiving esp catholic faith.
❤️🔥
Amen!
Sooooo important what this discussion is all about. I've been Catholic all my life and never prayed the Rosary but at funeral Rosary ... until 6 months ago. I do since and every day 5 decades following the original Mysteries (3). CHANGED my life !!! Thank you for your profound testimonies here and the POWER of this magnificent prayer.
You should do the luminous mysteries too . Their beautiful. As well as the Fatima prayer
Lila, you're on fire with your guest selection and your interviews! What a powerhouse team on this episode. Love listening to each of you, and here you are together... Thank you both for the work you're doing... Hail Mary full of grace!
I am Catholic watching all the way from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬. I really appreciate how Gabe opens up and shares his testimonials. Thank you Gabe for your Tips to living a holy life. I wished for to come to PNG 🇵🇬 and share with our young people. May God bless you your family and your work to teaching young people about the Rosary and living a holy life.
and if you get the feeling to pray it, do IT!----also it helps with depression or anxiety our Ever Virgin Mother Mary loves us so much, she is always with us--and with her help we will be with Jesus--thru Mary to Jesus, and thru Jesus to out Father. Amen.
The Bible never says “through Mary to Jesus” Jesus Christ is our only Mediator to The Father. Please read the Bible for yourself.
@@Intothemystic77 you should probably read the secret of the Rosary by St Louis Montford
@@Intothemystic77 Yet she interceded at the wedding at Cana and Our Lord complied with her request.
I struggle with mental prayer.. but the two times that I actually achieved it, it brought me to my knees. Surreal divine experience 🙏🏽
Try small ones ,
“Jesus Christ son of God, have mercy on me . A sinner”
Wow! 2 great Catholics in 1 video. Blessed Mother pray for us!
Praise the lord. I m a catholic. The holy spirit inspires me to recite the holy rosary. Do pray for me and my family to pray the rosary
I'm proud to be a Catholic. ♥️✝️
A prideful heart is a sinful heart. Pride will keep you from God. Our loyalties shouldn’t be with a church, it should only be with God.
@@artax7664oh, the bitter irony...
@@Dienekes678 cause you know me so well. You disagree that pride is a sin? What exactly about my statement was ironic? Maybe you’re confused about the definition of irony?
@@artax7664 it is pride that keeps many Protestants from walking the narrow path of Catholicism.
Not all, but definitely many.
He is a masterful blessing to us all. God has raised him up to help the young in particular to find HIS love and light in these v sinful times.
He taught my confirmation class, I’m sooo grateful he helped me get confirmed this year 🙏🙏
Lila and Gabe, two of my favorite Catholic podcasts! God bless you both 🙏
His channel brought me closer to the faith when I started to feel lukewarm. I've been a fan for over 5 years and theres very few content out there that can inspire me the way his does. Bravo guys! I look up to both of you so much ❤
Lila, God bless you and all you do. Gabe is amazing and one of his videos was one of the first videos I saw that led me to praying 3 rossries a day that saved me from despair. I also love how 3 rosaries is 153 Hail Mary's and you chose thus topic on the 153rd episode. Love it. God bless and take care.
I love being Catholic ! God bless you both.
2 seconds into the video and I love how he honored her for her work! I can tell this is gonna be a great episode!
The Rosaey changes my life too when I started it,also inspired by Gabe...and my grandma who loved the Rosary so much❤😢 Bless her soul
Keith testimony helped me alot, keith's and Steve Ray's. I always had a deep thirst & hunger for Jesus & now after on my way to be a catholic it's like stream of rivers are calling me to come and drink.. Now eagerly waitng for my baptism in catholic church & most important Holy Eucharist.
Yesterday evening i went to a catholic priest to become a catholic. By the way i was born hindu & converted to pentecostal faith But now after 12 years i am on my way to be a Catholic. It's really like coming home, so refreshing.
Great interview. Jenny from Ireland - coming back to Jesus through the rosary 📿 at 48yrs old !
I love how Lila is very curious to learn about our beautiful Catholic faith. I know you are a new convert, there is so much to learn. I am a cradle Catholic and I am 51 yrs old and don't know enough. Blessings to you Lila. ❤😘😘
Thanks to the Rosary man (Gabe Castillo) my devotion to the Rosary is going strong.
God bless you both! Thank you for Interviewing Gabi! He is instrumental in me praying the Rosary everyday again! So much blessings for my family!
What a year its been for Gabi two big podcasts mattfradd and lila rose
And he was on Keith Nester’s show too.
God bless you!! From Brazil 🇧🇷
Great episode. May God bless Lila, Gabe and their families.
Thank you for having this amazing postcard. ❤God bless you all
Pray Rosary reduce my anxiety. Thanks for ur youtube channel. God bless us
Great podcast! Amazing what the Holy Spirit does with those who say yes to Jesus. God bless you two. Thank you
Gabe, you are chosen by God to be a servant of the Rosary. You have inspired a lot of people...❤❤
His story is my story and a lot of other people’s as well.
🙏
Thanks!
Wow & Wow!! PRAISE GOD for this INCREDIBLE, POWERFUL testimony & life’s sharing between these two beautiful, Humble, Holy, Honest, Courageous , Compassionate, Zealous , Obedient, Faithful & seeking to fulfil Christ Jesus’s Holy Will , Christians! Thank you, for promoting our Catholic Faith . I loved listening to this episode! May both our Heavenly Father & Mother continue to BLESS you both & your loved ones. 🙏🥰🕊️📿
Gabe is a great speaker! He keeps the listeners engaged in the topic. Thanks Gabe for your testimony and for loving the Virgen Mary 🤗❤️🙏
I love the way they both explained the Hail Mary prayer. Literal tears. 🥹
"St. Padre Pio, I don't really know him but I pray to him a lot, so we're buddies" - I love it 😍😊
I was praing to St. Padre Pio when I was in Italy and I got a message about our friend in Poland who was dying at a very young age after giving birth. She was saved and I deeply believe that all the prayers from friends and family (including lots of rosaries) and St. Padre Pio's intercession saved her.
Really good!
I have family with no formed conscience…I pray they would have a Holy Spirit experience…
🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much Gabe❤🙏. I really liked listening to you. Because of you explaining the Rosery, I praying four Roserys a day. It is amazing 🎉. God bless you and your family ❤
This was a joy to watch! I'm in day 14 of Gabi's Consecration to Mary and am so grateful the Holy Spirit guided me to him and his platform. It's a blessing to hear what other parents are doing with their kids to keep them active in the faith!
I love GabiAfterHours. Thanks for bringing him on!
The Rosary is the Gospel through Mother Mary's eyes...
The Rosary is such an important part of my life, I can’t go a day without praying it. Thankyou for sharing the importance of the Rosary! 📿 🙏🛐✝️♥️
Wow... this was deep! A whole new side of Gabe... thank you Lila! His compliments at the outset were justified... praise God+
Thank you Lila for your wonderful wonderful work and podcasts. Grace and compassion shine through you. 💕🌸🙏
I am so tired😢 I want to stay up to listen but I have to work tomorrow. Please don’t delete the show. I well watch it tomorrow. Good night, God bless!
Thank you and may God bring you and your families many blessings for all that you do. God is surely smiling on you both. (Australia)
Yes Gabi, we can thank you for the resurgence in our family. And the kids we Catechize hopefully will get that hunger for God.
Joseph, Defender of Life
Dearest St. Joseph,
at the word of an angel,
you lovingly took Mary into your home.
As God’s humble servant, you guided
the Holy Family on the road to Bethlehem,
welcomed Jesus as your own son
in the shelter of a manger,
and fled far from your homeland
for the safety of both Mother and Child.
We praise God that as their faithful protector,
you never hesitated to sacrifice
for those entrusted to you.
May your example inspire us also
to welcome, cherish, and safeguard
God’s most precious gift of life.
Help us to faithfully commit ourselves
to the service and defense of human life
-especially where it is
vulnerable or threatened.
Obtain for us the grace
to do the will of God in all things.
Amen
Matthew 20:21 Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
Be back!
It is so nice to listen to this. Please pray for my daughter and my family. Thank you.
Oh my goodness. Amazing interview. I’m an avid prayer of the rosary. And I’m loving hearing Gabe’s story. So much beauty. Thank you.
So amazing. God bless you both. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to hear your conversation. It’s almost 1 am and I should be tired but I’m just inspired and am about to pray the rosary… as much as I can before letting my guardian angel finish it for me. :-)
Amaizing description of the holy Rosary! ❤
Love both of you, Gabi got me to start praying the rosary ❤
Such a blessing to have two beautiful people on a mission to spread truth come together! Thank you for all you both do! 🕊️
I love my Catholic faith ❤❤❤
I love Gabe’s channel. He helped me get over my lifelong reservation with fully loving Jesus’s mother and praying the rosary. I was really hoping he’d mention the elephant story 😂😂😂 i crack up whenever he talks about it, just throwing away all his mom’s little elephant figurines because he was so gung-ho on destroying anything that seemed new-agey. I honestly don’t blame him but I can’t help but chuckle at that anecdote every time 😂😂😂
Thanks and Glory to God for you both!
Love you both! You are both so incredible and are bringing people closer to Christ and our blessed mother ❤️
Yes!!!! Love Gabi after hours!!
100% Pro Lifer, God bless you both 🙏✝️❤️🙏. 💙💗💙💗💙💗
He helped me become consecrated to Mary. Thank you, Gabe. 🙏🏻 May God bless you
divine mother , thank u mother Mary
Awesome! Mr. GABE! WHAT! I have been waiting for this one!
And here you got it. LILA is doing an amazing job, a strong defender of life.
Thank you so much.
This conversation was so approachable and enjoyable, I felt like I was in the studio with you. Awesome!
Gracias ❤
Had to comment a second time. Unbelievably great information from Gabe. And I got so many chills.
I love your podcasts Lila praise the lord jesus❤
