Definitely a great song. I'm a fiddler and mandolin player. The stereotypes are pretty funny. Some of the "hipster" people in the college town I live in think me and my bandmates are bumpkins because of the music we play. Even though we all come from rural backgrounds, we all have advanced degrees. Although not all of us use them. I moved to play full time many years ago, so there is no time to teach literature anymore.

I told the banjo player if they won I would string up because "They weren't fucking rock". The mofos won. They thought I hated them until I showed up at every show. The giant swing had a loud Soundsystem that could be heard right across the entire carnival ground and the operator would often play this song. It is one of the rare songs that people of all ages and fans of every different genre of music instantly started dancing or grooving to. Any time he played it, especially in the late evening, at least 90% of the people at the carnival started reacting by swaying or dancing to it creating a great atmosphere.

They look like they perform at festivals. They're definitely the type of music you get at some of them in the south. It feels different in person. I don't know if y'all know this but the large string instruments played in person send the music vibrating through the ground. You can feel it thrumming through you. It's a weird experience. Heavy metal is the same. It's music that's meant to be physically felt.

This has to be one of my all time best tunes, my step son asked us once if we'd heard this before & when we told him we'd "found" it some time before we gained so many brownie points we are still living off them now! His fav is Bastard Son, it has some past content is all I'm saying. Thanks for your call on this, epic.

As far as I've seen, nobody has told you what the song is about. Three rounds? One for his wife, one for her lover, one for himself. The good company? Him, his wife, and her lover. All people who love at least one other.

Watching you break down, and find so much meaning and enjoyment in different genres! It shows how art and music seems to bridge just about any differences we as people have. The expression of thoughts and feelings from so many different perspectives, illustrates we all have so much more in common than divides us.
PLEASE REVIEW- “On the turning away”, by Pink Floyd! 🙏🏼
God bless and Happy Holidays 😊
