1st International Festival competition named after B. Kotorovych «MAESTRO FEST» II TUR kategorіya I

Holding the First International Festival - Competition named after Bohodar Kotorovych "MAESTRO - Fest" is part of a large-scale cultural and artistic project "MAESTRO-Fest. Bohodar Kotorovych”, dedicated to the celebration of the landmark event of the year at the state level, the memorable date of the 80th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian violinist, professor and conductor Bohodar Kotorovych (1941-2009).
The Festival-Competition is hosted by the “Kyiv-Classic” Cultural and Art Charitable Foundation (www.kyiv-clasi..., headed by the author and founder of the project Yevheniya Basalayeva, People's Artist of Ukraine, famous Ukrainian pianist, wife and creative partner of the Maestro for many years. The initiator of the project is Anton Kotorovych, a famous rock musician, violinist, electric guitarist, son of Drs. Kotorovych and Basalayeva.
The project is implemented according to the Decree of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, dated on December 16, 2020, "On the celebration of memorable dates and anniversaries in 2021", with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (UCF), within the XV International Festival of Arts "Dialogues of Cultures".
Terms and conditions of the Festival-competition:
Violinists (NOMINATION "VIOLIN")and performers on bowed string instruments (viola, cello, double bass) ( NOMINATION "MAESTRO") welcome to participate.
Festival-competition Dates:
1st round: September 7-14th - distance Festival-competition (by video recording).
2nd round: final (offline/online) - October 6th, Kyiv; The Great Concert Hall of the Pyotr Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine;
The Concert Hall of the Actor’s House
October 7th - awards ceremony, gala concert; the Lysenko Colonnaded Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine (Kyiv).
