@@TheBlaster54 😕 Never say never. Angelina’s colored contacts are purely cosmetic. Her beautiful brown eyes are still brown underneath. I wore blue contacts until I was 35. For more than half of my life people have seen my naturally colored grey/green eyes.

Yes, the colored rooms/sets was not only used for the Billie Jean music video, but also for the music video for the song Yesterday by the Beatles, where she was in a all orange room sitting in a shopping cart. The studio performance does sound different from the music video. Not only some of the instrument sounds were different, but the ending of the song with the word "Hope" was not vocally repeated in the music video.

I’m pretty sure this video was released prior to the music video. It was described as a “live studio version”… I think that means that the audio was essentially one take. I believe additional takes were made to provide video footage. I think the music video was more produced… both audio and visual performances were put together from multiple takes. I prefer this version myself. I detected differences in the standup bass audio track. In this version it seemed more melodic… less manipulated electronically. But I’m no expert. 😉 🤷🏻♂️ Nice reaction/analysis Aaron.
