Interesting. Being self taught I've always "pinched" the string to get a harmonic which is easier on the wrist. Interestingly, it's a technique used on the Chinese Gong zhu harp. But, I'm unable to do double harmonics with my pinching technique. TY for the video.
I have orchestral music asking for a triple harmonic played with the right hand while the left hand plays a low octave. Do you have any suggestions other than just playing it up an octave?
Awesome but ouch!! Hands too small to trirp the fingers. Oh dear I’ll just watch your amazing hands and be grateful I can do a single harmonic. Sounds amazing.
Thanks Josh for sharing :). As a self-taught harpist, I would never have imagined this way of playing.
Love these little harp videos!!
Very clear thanks, Josh
Thanks, Josh. I appreciate how clearly you have demonstrated these.
I learned harp harmonics 40+ years ago, but it's good to have a refresher class from a master. (I don't practice enough, anymore)!
You should play again! I'm beginning to learn soon, on a Lyre harp though, I play if just for fun now but getting better slowly
Fantastic timing, this is so helpful!

Nice to have a refresher after you showed me! Still practising it!😊
