I use this handy tip all the time to make my rolled triads sound more beautiful, fast and even. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you too!

Terrific training tip trick - I laughed right out loud to see the ice cream levitating above its cone! and this image will sure help my fingers know their place.

Boy, trickier than it looks, especially going down. My fingers like to do what they like to do sometimes, but I'll keep at it, which means - YES!!! I FINALLY HAVE MY HARP!!! HOORAY!!!

Love the image of floating ice cream. It's a good thing I don't have any ice cream in my freezer, right now. I would be fighting with myself between having a snack and practicing rolled chords.

Thank you! That is the best description on here for rolled chords. It has really helped. Love the scoops of ice cream analogy. It's right up my street! 😀

Thank you very much. This is most helpful. Before I had watched your video my chords sounded as if I was plowing a field. They get lighter now. 🙏🥰

I have been learning "What Wondrous Love is This?", arranged by Carol Cappus, which has lots of rolled chords. Thank you for the help!!!

This is great, Anne! I tend to yank. 🤷‍♀️. This exercise and visualizing the ice cream scoops will help! Thank you. 😊🎶🙏

I cannot believe how much this has helped me. Ive already improved massively after only 10 minutes. I used the same method for 1,5,8 chords on the left hand and it has helped as well! Thank you so much!!

Such cute, creative imagery, Anne! 🍦🍧🍨 When you started the downward rolls, I wondered if the top scoop would appear first floating in mid-air, and it did! 😅❤😋

Beautiful! Will try first thing tomorrow! I would love a technique video about how to move from playing triads in the left hand to wider chords. I am really enjoying In the Clouds, but something like Butterfly Dreams is out of reach and I would like to start working towards it. Thanks.

Very nice lesson Anne. I really like your style of teaching. I already take lessons with Stephanie Claussen, but do you do single lessons? I’m at an intermediate level.

They are so much easier going up aren't they? But the downwards rolls can be so pretty and expressive. Good luck!
