I love that even though Derek Trucks doesn't play a PRS guitar or Amp, the respect Paul has for him in the room is the same respect he has for Warren Hanes and Carlos Santana

Carlos said it best. We all want more of what guys like this say and how they do what they do. Thanks for sitting down with these guys and extracting the knowledge they shared, it means a lot to those of us striving to play like them.

What Warren said about young people not knowing the difference between performing from the heart, and not performing from the heart, because they have nothing to refer to - SPOT on! Thank you to musicians like this who continue to enlighten the younger generations, and ensure that the purity, power and emotion we feel in music is never lost. What an awesome video! And thank you to Paul for creating the guitars, and to Marc for helping produce this video. You are all awesome! :)

Damn, I wish I would've discovered this interview years ago! This should be required listening for all musicians. Three incredible musicians that understand what music is and can be when played for all the right reasons. Just a phenomenal interview.

Wow, what a great conversation. Santana seems to be on another plane of existence. Also cool to hear them talk about the first time they experienced chills; I definitely got some watching this interview.

Isn't it wonderful when talented people check their egos and leave them in the cloakroom ? Listening to a bunch of talented guitarists and a guitar-maker, and applying their input into our lives. A truly inspirational video.

I had a guitar teacher that could straight up shred. But the one thing he told that stick with me was when he looked right in the eyes and said, "You can play a million notes, but it won't mean a thing if you don't feel it." It changed the way I think about guitar, and music in general.

Awesome interview I wish there was more like this out there, Love when derek says about condescending when he's playing with people. Think I've seen him make that look once or twice joe bonamassa being 1 of them on the Freddie king induction video. Great interview 5*

Soloing doesn't mean ANYTHING if you can't feel what you do. These guys are great, all in their own right, trying to teach a new generation of musician not to play for show, girls, money, etc.I really want to meet Paul one day, just to talk gear and guitars to see some insight on his passion. He just seems like a great guy, thank Paul,Carlos,Warren, Derek!!!!

Wow, what an inspirational 15 mins that was !!
I've never learned to read music, I've only ever wanted to play what I feel at that moment and anything I do learn, I learn by ear. I've always thought that praps I'm just being lazy, but after listening to this conversation I feel that I'm doing what's right for me and that I should just carry on being organic in my approach. What I need to learn though is how to trust and let go like these guys do. Hopefully one day I'll crack it :0)
    Thankyou PRS

Gosh, how great is that conversation? o.O
It made me laugh hard because of the following thing:
Like three weeks ago during soloing in a guitar lesson (thrre people tought by one teacher) I lost myself completely between my feelings and brought my solo to an end and then with my last played straccato note all three interrupted and stared at me. I look up and they began to laugh. I was like "What?" And they answered: "You played one bar then you should" and... gosh... I was stunned and scared xD

And out of this I ve come to realize that they build individual amps for each of the players....it would be a good idea to identify if any of the circuits of the production models are the basis for the big stars amps..... I d be in a hugh effort of buying THAT amp that has ..........what tone that can be manifested by the stage stars PRS amps

@lupon18 who said i blamed his schizophrenia on LSD? I do think it was a catalyst. Either way I've met plenty of folks out there that have had more than their share and are proof that there is in fact such thing as too much. My point is its irresponsible to openly say there's no such thing as too much, kids are easily influenced.
