Flaminia, that turned out so cute. It was so worth it to start over with the smaller size even though that must have been so annoying. That clip of you trying it on and jumping up and down is so relatable because it's so fun to see all your hard work turn into something so cool. This was also a really cool video of your whole process, I definitely enjoyed it!
aw I am so happy you enjoyed watching this video!! definitelly a tricky project but I am so happy with how it turned out! Thank you for watching and happy knitting!
It's so hard to see your disappointment. I am knitting the Barbroe blouse and also had to rip back after trying it on after 8 repeats. Size XS is fine me. On the good side it does go faster in the smaller size. Thx for sharing.
I have heard of so many people having the same issue with this pattern! I am sorry it is like that but it makes me feel a bit less lonely ahah!! I would love to see yours when you finish it! Happy knitting!
Thanks for sharing your journey knitting this beautiful top! It is never fun to frog a project but the end result is so rewarding. You proved this point and definitely inspire us viewers to not be afraid and frog when needed. Thanks so much!
Well done on keeping your motivation despite a huge setback! The result is AMAZING, it makes me want to knit it despite the struggles you went through. Congrats 🥳
Loved the rollercoaster that knitting this pattern was. Enjoyed the first part bc I find understanding mistakes so educative. Definitely not something I would knit but it looks great on you and the color without any doubt suits you amazingly. Good job on keeping up despite the frustration, definitely worth it. ❤
I am in love with this pattern after Fruity Knitting podcast, and I’m so glad too see someone who shared their full journey, including the struggles. It is still a bit too scary for me, but I am very thankful for this video as an incredible insight in what to expect.
Thank you that is very nice of you!!!🥰 Maybe you'll master up the courage of knitting it yourself someday! Thank you so much for watching and happy knitting🫶
You did not let it defeat you! That’s so inspiring, Flaminia - I will think of it next time I have to frog! And you went on to make such a beautiful job of it. It’s just perfect on you. Congratulations, dear 🥰🥰

We must know that not everything works out the first time and that everyone sometimes has to frogg and knit againg something to make it perfect ☺️ ❤️❤️❤️

I have this project o my wish-to-do list. I am glad I found your Vlog. It gave me a lot to consider before I start. Very inspiring. Your color is lovely 🤩
So sorry about your heartbreak on the first attempt!!!! But thank you so so so much for making this video!!!!! I am dying to make this top but will definitely learn from your experience 🧶💐
Hello Flaminia, I just found your video and saw the pattern and the yarn colour, and went straight to Ravelry to buy the pattern but now that I watched your whole video I am scared to knit this project as you mentioned some issues this pattern has. I am a left-handed knitter so I find it extra difficult to knit from patterns that are designed for right-handed people. I also wanted to metion that it was a real pleasure to watch your progress and the end result is absolutely amazing! The blouse turned out beautifully and the colour really suits you!
Aw thank you so much for the kind words🥰🥰🫶 I hope I didn't discourage you to knit this, I know knitting lefthanded is tricky, I don't know too much about it. I heard it is particularly confusing if a pattern is not symmetrical, but other than the shaping instructions being not super clear, there shouldn't be that problem. But of course this is just my guessing! I hope you'll knit it someday if you so desire🥰 Thank you for watching and happy knitting🫶🫶
@@knittingflem thank you, Flaminia! 😊 not discouraged but a little worried 😅 I do want to knit this pattern though because it looks really beautiful and your video was definitely helpful with seeing you working on it and figuring it out. Happy knitting to you as well! ❤
Ah it turned out so stunning, you did such a good job!! This is on my queue and I'm a similar size so it's very helpful. I'm working on the Pohjola pullover by Sari Nordland and trying to decide if I should add the colour work to the bottom hem of the body or not.

Hi I absolutely loved your video and it has inspired me to add this blouse to my queue. I am visiting Rome and other parts of Italy this summer and I was wondering what your favorite yarn shops in Rome are?
yey I am so happy you enjoyed this video! for the yarn shops, I have two posts on my instagram with my favourite yarn shops!! I'll try to send you a link instagram.com/p/CwpZbK-o_7P/?img_index=1 instagram.com/p/CwpaBFZoUvu/?img_index=1 hope this helps!
Such a gorgeous top!! You did a beautiful job! I appreciate you sharing the process with us. I know that feeling of wanting but not wanting to frog too well! I always end up frogging. It’s always worth it. Have you seen the Cuore Tee by Ksenia Naidyon (lifeiscozy). I just stumble upon it the other day while I was perusing Ravelry. I think you’d like it. It’s so pretty I had to order yarn for it right away.💗
yes it was definitelly worth it!! aw thank you for sharing that with me, I added it to my favourites it is so pretty!! and cuore also means heart in italian so thats a plus for me ahahah. thank you for watching and happy knitting!!

Thank you for your amazing vlog. Your blouse turned out so beautiful. Also the colour looks perfect for you. I have a question and hope that you can help me, if you like. Otherwise also many thanks for your vlog. When I knit the scalloped bind-off for the collar. In the pattern is written; Short Row 3 (WS): Sl1k, sl1k, place the 2 sl sts back onto left needle in twisted position, k2tog tb. I hope that I understand the instruction good. Didn’t knit that much but it seems easy what to do. But the problem is that I have very ugly long threads between each scalloped edge, at the beginning where I have to make Sl1k, sl1k, place the 2 sl sts back onto left needle in twisted position, k2tog tb. I tried everything, like tightening the stitches with no result. Can you explain in easy to follow steps how I have to do this. Maybe I’m something wrong. Know I slip every stitch knit wise (2 times) When on right needle I have to insert my knitting needle in a strange difficult position to make the twist, and then put them simustamisly on the left needle again, and knit in the back loop of these two stitches. I really hope my explanation is for you to understand. I can’t find any information about this stitch maybe it is there somewhere. It would be very helpful for me if you can help me with this little, big problem. Kind regards, or like we say in the Netherlands; Vriendelijke groeten, Angelique Looking forward to see your lovely vlogs. 🧶Happy knitting.
hey Angelique!! I am sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet but I moved across countries and it has been difficult to adjust:( I hope you found a solution in the meantime, if I understood right I think we did the same thing so I am not really sure why you have those long stitches. After slipping the stitches separatelly you put them back on the left needle and k2togtbl, which (from what I understood) is what you did!! So I am not really sure. I really wish I could be more helpful...:-'''( Thank you for watching and for your question and happy knitting!! Please let me know if you solved the problem!!
Thank you so much for replying. And of course no sorry! I hope you are more adjusted in where you are, in the most beautiful Italy. I have never been, from what I hear and see only good things. It’s on my bucket list. In the mean time I started, and of course struggled with the sleeves 🙈 There is lots of information on Ravelry to found, but still… I will eventually succeed. Your suggestion made me think again, I made it to difficult by not thinking what the purpose was of the renewed knitting stitch. Just that the thread was on the other side of the work to make the k2tog back loop. I hope I say it correctly. Instead I made a strange different twist, I thought that was what I supposed to do. But by doing the suggested steps from the pattern, the stitch will be twisted, and the thread is on the other side. I couldn’t see clearly. And when I read your sentence, it became clear to me. Oh my, I feel a little bit foolish. So yes yes you help me enormously. You made your own beautiful sweater, so well done. Enjoy your further knitting adventures. Kind regards.
The 56 minutes flew by! I loved following the whole journey and hearing your thoughts along the way. And the blouse turned out so beautiful!! I'm trying to figure out how much yarn to order!
