I LOVE love love Gepard puno yarn. Its my fav!!! I so love the look of woolly wool but Im to sensitive to wear it to the point where i get red itchy skin….i just cant, sadly. But The puno yarn, i could sleep in it!!! I made a sweater called grid love that at the time was for free on ravelry, but i Can see that Its not free anymore. The gauge was off with the puno yarn, but i went Down a size in fitting. I used needle 5 to the neck and cuffs, a 5,5 for the body, and 6 for the colorwork where i used the yarn called, lang yarns cloud. That sweater is now my fav and i often use it instead of a jacket. There is another free pattern on ravelry called, Kiuru sweater, with the same gauge as the love grid sweater and Its for free,…Maybe that is a pattern you would like? So go Take a look if you like🙂

god that sandro pullover is exactly what i’ve been looking for! i especially want a cardigan version as well but the pullover is gorgeous too. hoping it gets published so i can purchase and make it <33

29:57 could it be that the double knitting rounds purpose is to tighten up the collar that would otherwise be more prone to stretching? And so prevent the stretching at the neck? Back here after watching the whole video. Huge congrats onto getting to the test knit part of your Sandro Sweater which btw I was eager to apply to. Ciao! Bellissimo video. Ho fatto il Terracotta Sweater di Le Knit in Tynn Peer Gynt e Tynn Silk Mohair per me, e lo sto rifacendo come regalo di Natale.. non sono molto morbidi. Sono filati leggeri e belli da indossare, forse non li metterei a contatto con la pelle se fossi in te, io porto una maglietta o una camicia sotto il maglione, ma per il lavoro a colori rimangono bellissimi! Sono curiosa di vedere se li proverai! Anche io vorrei provare Jaimison and Smith perché i colori sono stupendi!! L’ho visto a Milano nel mio negozio di fiducia ed è ancora più rustico e pungente di Tynn Peer Gynt… ma non penso che questo ci fermerà!😉

How was it that a 39 minutes video takes 1 hour 40 to be watched?? I had to ravage the internet to every yarn you mentioned😱 And now I have questions. And possibly ideas. And cravings. Soooo On the Gepard wooly: isn't it crazy that you have to get in the UK a yarn that is harvested (?) and milled in Italy from a danish company? this is not a question about ethic it's just me not understanding y can't we Italians get cool yarn from Italian brands but danish brands can. Basically I'm jealous. All those KFO Gepard Onion Lang öning where do they get their yarn milled??? It drives me crazy. I want to get it there, before it travels around the world to more expensive retailers 😭😂😭 Ok I'm done venting. Would you consider a puffy drop shoulder cardigan (tipo bomber) for that blown yarn? I'm thinking of some basic cropped puff cuff no-button-band thing that you can drawn yourself Also I've wanted to try the Cascade 220 yarn myself. 150 different color ways and they have nice dark saturated cool tones. Cool brown eggplant actual cool forest green. Every time I check on their site I'm in awe. I feel like I could eventually schedule a trip to the US just for buying yarn.😂😂 don't you feel like cascade 220 would knit a perfect Sandro Sweater?

Hi! Can I just ask how's your impression on the pilling for drops daisy? I made ingrid sweater with this yarn and it pilled like crazy, but maybe it was just that lot?

You have a warm skin tone, so I would say the creamier/yellower natural yarn colour would suit you better than a bright white. If you wear cool colours it can give your skin tone a grey cast. That being said.... you should always knit what makes you happy!

Your maxine sweater came out so beautiful!! If it makes you feel better, I would never have noticed your mistake if you had not mentioned it. I actually cannot see it except when you are explicitly pointing it out on the back 😝It does seem like the perfect Scotland sweater since you used Kinross 4-ply. I bought a few skeins while visiting earlier this year and now wish I bought more!

Living in a country that has snow during winter time the question "why is this snow white so yellow" has only one correct answer. 😅 hopefully you get the right yarn and enjoy your time in Scotland. 😊

Love your podcasts. Great to hear that the transition to Scotland went well. The Sandro sweater looks so cute. The cashmere swatch 💙 I vote for a plain stockinette sweater. I still working on the houndstooth jacket but I also working on some other projects to "survive" because it's a huge project. I'd hope to have it finished this fall but only about a third of the jacket is done we'll see how it goes. The other main project is the Tulip sweater in a darker greyish brown. I only have the bottom hem to do. I hope that you have a cozy and lovely stay in Scotland. 🤍

Your ideas are so lovely! I love your classy style! I think YOU want to make the Poppy Tee/sweater. You just lit up when showing your swatch. The more simple lines of the Poppy might also be more versatile. Also, this is a total brainstorm thought, but if you are making a pattern of the cable sweater, you might want to make samples in yarn that people can find so they can say "I want to make EXACTLY that" and they know what yarn they have to get. I have no idea how any of the designing process works so it's just a thought.

Allora... Let's start with fall plans: currently on half twisted ribbed cuff on sleeve #2 of this testknit called Isla Sweater from Nalaknits that I'm adoring. I'm literally swatching RN for Lana Vest while I'm watching this video of yours and after that I plan on knitting Florence's step by step cardigan which shouldn't take long bc of 5,5 mm needles Lastly and only if I eventually feel like I have everything ready for the Soldotna. Not very confident this one is going to happen since it is being pushed back again and again Also I'm working on saving ideas for my winter to-knit list and girl sweater #29 pattern is already printed out and waiting in a project bag together with silk mohair and Semilla melange😍 Now, on the Poppy sweater/Sandro sweater second sample dilemma: I would consider using the blue yarn from the unraveled scarf for the Poppy sweater and use a more commercial yarn for the Sandro The reason being IMO it's nice for knitters who are interested in getting your pattern to have yarn alternatives that they can actually find in shops. Can't wait to see more about your new adventure in Scotland!
