Dude, this moment alone is not only the best celeste experience i ever had, but rather the best experience i had in gaming in general and a major part of that is the awesome music that you made, it really did bring the nerves for me and when i finally did beat f1 i literally jumped from my chair and shaking and kinda tearing up which is pretty special considering that i never really get emotional into videogames, so a big thank you for making one of the most memorable music in general :))

Honestly I would have disagreed but.... Genuinely they are by far the two biggest and best mods (or I guess fangames due to their size) in the industry, it would be a competition, but personally having beaten both, SJ wins by a decent margin I think
@@lucaspaixao3808 Not due to the size, Undertale Yellow isn't based on the code of Undertale, it just happens to also be made in GameMaker. UndertaleModTool had to specifically add support for Undertale Yellow
Note: UndertaleModTool isn't just for undertale, it works on many GameMaker games including _Pizza Tower_ and _Will You Snail?_

Knowing that I will likely never get around to completing the pantheon for at least a few years (i'm only an advanced level player on a good day and busy with school), thank you for showing me the beauty that the other half of SJ has to offer. This mod really is a real work of art.

Wow time sure does fly I can't believe its been a decade since Strawberry Jam came out.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE. Ever since I saw Passionfruit Pantheon for the first time, I can't stop hyperfixating on that map because how good it is!!! The storytelling, the decoration and theming, the music, and Flag 1 of course...! I don't have the words to describe my appreciation for it, nor am I anywhere near good enough to play it (hardest maps I've beaten are Starfruit Supernova and Flipside Cliffside), but if there's one thing I want to do to show my appreciation for it, I really wanna start making fanart of Passionfruit Pantheon and other Strawberry Jam maps!
the grandmaster levels do get harder and harder, but you also get better and better. if you can beat fliffside, you can definitely beat passionfruit pantheon. good luck 🗣️🗣️🗣️(also fliffside is the hardest of the green grandmaster maps)
Sick video, enjoyed it so much that I willingly spoiled myself on GMHS, you also reminded me to get back to getting through SJ (Haven't played Celeste in a while, currently on Psychokinetic)

I don't think the people in this comments section truly understand how hard the GM hearthside is, congrats for beating it! that is seriously insane.
I haven't even beaten a cracked GM yet, after shatter song took me 6 hours I couldn't do any higher difficulty.

In my opinion there were quite a few things from 2020 spring colab that were done better than SJ (the heartsides were way more enjoyable in Spring colab) but the art in SJ is so good that it has to be the best celeste mod.
the Strawberry Jam team really just said _"let's create the best mod in the history of video games."_ and actually did it. it's beyond incredible the fact it's a free experience (and even more than any purchase of the OST goes to Trans Lifeline!! ^u^)
(also can we all agree Passionfruit Pantheon is legit one of the most cathartic experiences there is in Celeste?)

I was so confused at the start of the video when you started talking about celeste instead of the calamity mod
The only mod I am personally aware of what I would argue is better is Project M.
They are hard to compare because one „just“ adds new things while the other completely redesigns the base game, but there are a lot of great level packs for Celeste specifically and Games in general, but full system redesigns are rarer, so that gives PM the edge for me.

If we are comparing quality of mod/fangame to the original game, FNAF JOC is arguably one of the largest upgrade of the inspired game (Sorry to fnaf fans, most of your games aren't top tier), but doesn't match the unique charm of Undertale Yellow as a fangame. Best mod though is Strawberry Jam undoubtedly - although Terraria Calamity is close, only problem is that classic Terraria ambiguity with the crafting that causes problems.

You must have like 1000+ hours on this game, I'm a bit more than 200 in and even most of the beginner/intermediate levels are too hard for me!
i actually had around 500-600 when i did this lol. now i think im at 700.
but dont worry about your hours you are still doing good. while it does get really hard, but the difficulty curve isnt as extreme as it seems.

yeah i know a couple of the people that have done it, they are insanely good. especially when people FULL clear silver a map like pinball purgatory, which pretty much has a lottery spin at the end with the malfunction room lol.
