The way I look at life is, nothing is constant. Even your name isn't constant. When you got the tattoo, that was your name. You're proud of who you are. Rock it! It's not like you got an ex-girlfriend's name on you.

I don't think it was a fail. Harrison Miller Browne sounded great and had meaning but your new name has even more meaning to it. :)

I love how you were able to involve your mom

I, too, chose my new first name based on my given middle name as it was also tradition to pass down the middle name in the family - didn’t want to lose that connection to my gma and my mom! My aunt helped in the brainstorming process as my mom, at the time, wasn’t on board with my transitioning.

We never stop transitioning. As works in progress perhaps Miller was an important part of the process and an 5/6 important years.. plan a new tattoo for this part of the process?

I'm glad your mom is coming around! You've really come a long way since that interview you did with your sister
You've really inspired me to talk to my own mom about calling me her daughter instead of her son. Wish me luck!

Love it Harry!!! I'm so very happy for you!!! And I'm jealous of your location, it's gorgeous. ❤️ All the love my friend. (And your tattoo is still AMAZING)

My mom renamed name Alexander James. I really like it, and I'm so glad she was able to be part of the process. It was so important to me.

Your little fake laughter after you said Mildred made me laugh more than Mildred haha! And like other's have said I'm not sure it's so much a fail, like you can just lie about what the tattoo means or explain the situation to anyone who actually does speak elvish. And as far as cover up tattoo ideas, maybe something involving your Isobel Cup wins? Or something else important to you, maybe something involving Sawyer and Brutus?

You could get the Isobel Cup tattooed over it with the years you won it in the colors of the respective teams and then move your name to a different part of your body. Maybe over your heart after your top surgery?

I recently friended a f to m. Name change was easy. Shortening of his full name that everybody called him already! 🤣.
    Works.

I chose the name Harrison because I also wanted something that sounded similar to my birth name! I also asked my mum to pick my middle name and she chose Rex which was my grandads middle name
