I would love it if somebody from the government could explain to me why I have a corporation tax bill of £23k to pay for my small company that turns a profit of about £92k on a turnover of around £600k when Amazon have sales in the UK of £27billion and don’t have to pay a single penny. Where is the justice in this!??
Ah , well , that ones easy , I remember the story well , a person from the Tax office , went to lunch with the Head honcho from Amazon , and the person from Amazon told the Tax Man how much Amazon would pay .Did you know that high fliers from the Tax Office have sabbatical , and they go and work for the big Corporations , and vice versa ?
@@markdraycott3974
Because Amazon can afford lots of accountants to game the tax laws.
The NHS needs to spend its money better, not be rewarded with even more.
100% agree. Too much wasted money spent by the NHS
As a former NHS building contractor I have the invoices to prove it
Having worked at the NHS for 22 Years , I agree , corruption is rife .
Don’t worry, Starmer and his cronies will keep all their benefits and freebies while telling you he has difficult decisions to make!
Which is what happened just prior to 14 years of Tory chaos.
Whoah whoah whoah.
Stop right there.
The pension rise next year, in fact any year, is a cost of living rise.
So it will be eaten up by council tax, water, food, petrol etc etc
Gas and electric have just gone up (October) so you tell me, are pensioners worse off even when they get next years pension increase?
No matter how you spin it, pensioners have had money taken off them.
Fairly typical the tory party becomes absolutely hysterical at the thought of paying tax
Fairly typical, give it with one hand and take it away with the other 🤬
I was furious when my shopping bill went up by 50% earlier this year. Now I see it's gone up even more and Labour want to tax businesses once again? Get this shambles out of parliament!
Can't you just live within your means?
Tax payers apart from train drivers and doctors are walking away
4 months wait for my cancer to be removed
Are you guys stupid. Suggesting £400 increase in pension is a payoff is ridiculous. This amount would be paid anyway due to the triple lock and due to the massive wage rises the government has given to public sector workers. With crazy new policies by the government, will undoubtedly increase the cost of living next year and £400 will go nowhere. Stripping any monies off people earning just £12,000 per year is abhorrent!!
Scrap the triple lock and socialist winter fuel payments now!
weight till its a cashless society sorry Mr Smith you cannot buy that pack of crisps ????
I remember many years ago the NHS spending multi-millions on flat screens for their computers. Everyone had to have one even though their existing ones were ok. It was an "easy spend" so they could say "look how we're improving the NHS". Nothing improved the "money eating monster" continued soaking up money but it looked good on paper. These watches are the same thing - not needed.
The "money eating monster" is grossly excessive management and admin, along with paying many managers far too much.
I remember when £ Millions was spent on a new computer system , that never worked .
This is a "government of service" remember? I don't think anyone knows who they are in service to though
Themselves maybe. Certainly not us!
Self service they meen
@@Naturegarden236 Definitely seems to be the case
It is really looking that way
I would have thought that lowering taxes would lead to more growth and potentially more tax collected. If VAT was reduced by half, suddenly everyone could buy more stuff, which means more demand, more manufacturing, more jobs and because people are buying more stuff, perhaps more tax collected because things are cheaper.
Good banter. Plus all very nicely turned out tonight gentlemen.
Comments suggesting too many NHS managers and admin staff removed!
These cretins are quoting pensioner increase next April based on new pension rate which currently circa £220 per week. What they fail to mention is that pensioners on the new rate are in the minority!!! If they are going to mug pensioners at least be honest about it.
Just buy a real watch I've got a sekonda
I knew Starmer and Lammy would do a Rwanda 2 😂😂😂
Final step what they started in Blairs time calling privatisation to take over
"eat less and move more" doesn't work! its what you eat counts
Rubbish.
No if you how more going out than in i.e. calories you will lose weight...
I mean I eat salad and fruit and fruit smoothies with a pretty active job but I still don't lose weight
@@Chaos_Senpai fruit smoothes would be really high in sugar which your body turns to fat same as carbohydrates bread ,pasta, rice cereals. What you want is more fat into your diet meat bacon eggs that's about all I eat and lost weight no exercise
@@petergouvignon8048you're correct
They can bolt 😂😂🏴🏴
Are you joking! No one from this mob could explain anything, you would be more sensible to ask the CAT
I still use a pocket watch I have to wind up every two days 😞
I would rather see the NHS have massive reform than to target businesses.
We need businesses, with out them there are no jobs, no tax at all. Which would ultimately lead to no NHS anyway.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
That's the plan
Free smart watches 😂 more like tracking dievce
You can never point to a specific service to justify any tax.
Yes you need funds, but there are better and worse ways to get funds.
How dare they tax our millionaire business profits and gave them to the needy!!
How dare they tax and encourage less investment in the country and therefore create more needy.
Oh that’s right because numpties like you feel a glowing warmth inside.
I’m Scot 🏴🏴
That’s not something we can do about.
Have you tried medication?
Let food be your medicine + exercise and good hygiene = good health.
Unfortunately the public are in full support of all the terrible things going on in the country
You missed out the word ‘not’
@Killergoat69 oh i didn't
Streeting won't be Health Secretary after the next election that's for sure, so he's not really bothered.
But think of just how much damage can be done to this country before the next election. It's even conceivable that things could get so bad as to threaten what still remains of our democracy.
GBNews still crying over the Labour landslide.
Landslide, they got fewer votes this election than they did 5 years ago. Its not a landslide is it.
The that happend was, people rejected the Conservative party and decided to punish them by not voting at all.
The election was not a not for Labour it was a punishment vote against the Conservative. Those voters didn't switch to Labour, they still despise Labour
What's improving then?
@@samhodgins9804
Law and order. Rioters banged up in no time.
NHS - more money for improved services or stopping it getting worse.
@@johnkitching2248 you mean like all the excess shoplifting, gangs, illigal migration, corruption? You have a very strange take on law and order
Also throwing money at the NHS doesn't mean better services
