EVERYONE! I just talked to Los, the guy in charge of Data Crew, and he's provided a discount code if you'd like to get this bag: use LEDC at checkout for 10% off. It was a great conversation, and this bag IS expensive, but the materials are premium and most importantly - everything is made right here in the USA. It is a chunk of money, but this is absolutely the best sling you can buy.

$275?! Is crazy lol. Most importantly ill bling it up with my "Im here cause YOU Broke something" & "To avoid injury: Dont tell me how to do my job" patches. I also have a compact toolkit with a Leatherman Surge + Bits & LTT screwdriver and some airwedges and an Esee izula which i wrapped in olive paracord i use for work and as an EDC. Add in some wipes and a couple diapers, maybe a hotwheel or 2. and it can be my own personal dadtime sling. 😅😅😅 But for real $275?!

$275 is nuts. I wouldn’t pay anymore than $75. BUT… with 3 kids, I know exactly what would be in that sling, candy, gummy bears, bandaids, secret flask for myself, ibuprofen and air pods to block all the noise!

It sounds nuts, but then you feel this bag and it's basically as tough as it gets. I agree that's it still too expensive though.

Even with the discount it’s $250. I got it when it was around $120ish with discount. I’m okay with that for American made but they are nuts with this new price even though I really wish I could have bought xpac

I can afford a bag like this financially. If money is not a problem, sure - buy whatever you want. Most of the new brands and bags nowadays are way overpriced, tools and knives too. Personally I find more joy watching and finding something new that has good quality and reasonable price. I just bought Tomtoc 3.5L aviator sling to use on my recent trip to Japan. It’s about $50 and it has almost the same functionality, and looks great in my opinion. Speaking of Japan, they have tons of great looking bags that are made in Japan, they are all priced crazy high just like this sling too. I can afford them but I choose not to, way too expensive for what they are.

    My training “EDC” consist of:

    - 3 port USB-C dongle

I purchased the Trustfire miniX3 from watching your flashlight video. I was very interested in the bag until the price bomb was dropped. I’m a frugal feller and that price punched me in the gut. I don’t mind paying for quality but this is crazy. If I had it I would use it for my whole edc when I don’t wanna pocket/belt carry everything. For going to the pool, etc. That list includes the new light I mentioned, my Esee izula, folder of the day, rite in the rain notebook, big idea pen, bandanna, knipex cobras, adjustable wrench, Paracord, lighter with tape, arc rambler wallet, and last but not least my leatherman wave. And yeah I carry all that everywhere everyday. If you’re interested I have a video on my carry on my channel!

What I would carry in this pouch:
      1. Magic the Gathering decks, if you play I would have 2 Commander decks and some dice in my Small fry pouch
      2. Data crew what-a-slider filled with tech like chargers, battery bank, adapters
      3. A carabiner attached to hold my blender bottle
I think the price of the bag is very much out of my budget and I would very much love to pick this up because I feel that it would hold my items safely and securely.
Seeing such a high price just forces me to look for another alternative bag even though I am a big Data Crew user. Just a little sad since this company started my deep appreciation for EDC. I hope data crew releases something a little bit more on the budget side as another option, I know I would be more than happy to support that.

Fantastic review! I absolutely LOVE the Snacktime Sling. I’m really wanting to try an over the shoulder or around the waist type carry. It’s harder for me to get into my pockets now days due to an injury, so I think it would be much easier for me to carry a sling of some sort. I would definitely carry my phone, wallet, knife, flashlight, notebook and pen. I really like the space for patches too. So I can slap on what ever cool patches I am feeling that day, match an outfit or just stand out from the crowd and have my own personalization. I like the idea of the “hidden pocket” on the backside. I would try to see if an every day carry pistol would fit comfortably and safely. I would like that it would be against my body and secure while also being separate from the main front pocket with other every day items. You might even be able to slide a velcro placard of some sort inside of it and secure an extra mag and holster. I like that you have that option in the main pocket to switch between the wallet style slide pockets or the double straps to place larger pens, flashlights and knives etc. And you would already be set up to place any future panels that may come out, so I love how overall customizable this sling is. I would love to be able to easily carry and have quick access to my phone, knife, flashlight, pens, paper, multi tool, fidget toys and possibly my edc firearm. In the winter I would put gloves and a balaclava in it. And of course patches. With all of that being said, I feel like the Snacktime Sling is obviously a high value item. But 275 is extremely high. I personally can not afford that. And that’s a shame because it’s such a dope bag. But honestly, even if I could afford it, I don’t think that’s where I would spend that amount of money. Especially when I could probably find something comparable at a lower price. No doubt the value is there. But unfortunately I feel it’s way over priced. I don’t feel like the edc community wants to carry around high end “Gucci” or “Supreme” style gear as a fashion statement. At least not the edc community I see. Apologies for the long comment! I loved the video as usual and you put more gear on my radar again! I appreciate you and the time you take to show us this gear and I appreciate the reviews and honesty. Thanks man! Have a blessed day 🤘

Another great video and review. I salivated over this bag...until I saw the price. Recently, after weeks of hemming and hawing, I finally took the plunge and bought the Leatherman Arc to replace my Wingman. The Arc is a luxury-like purchase of Leatherman's top-of-the-line multitool, which is far more than I need in a multitool. Amazingly, this bag costs nearly $50 more than the Arc. I don't blame Data Crew for pricing this bag at what the market will bear, but I think even $150 would be too high. So, if I were to buy this bag, I sure wouldn't be carrying an Arc in it, which I'd have to return in order to cover part of the cost of the sling. If, however, this bag magically appeared in my mailbox, I would gratefully enjoy using it to carry my shiny new Arc, my Lander 3 with new OD-green scales (to match the sling), my OD-green Olight Arkfeld Pro, my OD-green Everyman Mini-twist pen and A6-size Tomoe River notebook (thank you Marcus O'Brien for my new addiction to Japanese paper), my Nitecore iPhone charger, a small first aid (ouch-pouch) kit, and of course, my pocket Constitution (Saddleback Leather leather-bound edition). I do appreciate the copious amount of hook and loop this sling offers, enabling maximum customization and fun RE personalization. (I'd proudly display my "Best Dad Ever" patch given to me by my daughter for Father's Day.)

I would use it to carry my first aid kit pouch, charging cables, power bank, phone, bandana, and custom fixed blade box cutter. It's a great looking bag and being 100% made in USA is a big checkbox for me because I try to support America made as much as I can. I think the quality control at Data Crew is next level. I have a couple of their pouches and the stitching and everything is extremely well done. The price for me is major hump to overcome, but if it's a buy it for life type of bag it would be worth it.

I’m a huge data crew fan, I have several T shirts I wear all the time, patches, RE’s, reaper danglers on my backpack, stickers, etc. I want that snack time sling bad but I cannot justify $275 for it. I would carry my normal EDC items in it. Knife, flashlight, pen and also my new digital compact camera. Trying to take more photos everyday and get off my phone. I ended up getting an Alpaka elements tech case mini which is smaller than the snack time sling, but more affordable at around $45. They have a bigger one for $80 and a max for under $100.

Why are other brands like Vanquest and Tomtoc able to make bags so cheap? 1) materials are good but not nearly as high-quality as this and 2) overseas labor. This is all USA-made, and we know American ain’t cheap these days!

There's a LOT of room in there but $275 invested in the S&P 500 at an average return of %10 over 30 years is almost $5,000. That's what this company is asking me to do. Rob my future self of $5,000. Price is too high. I’d carry a flashlight, multitool, Wysi wipes, boom stick, handkerchief, small water bottle, hand sanitizer, bandaids and some assorted medicines.

Yeah I understand what you’re saying, but you could literally say that about any product. I could get *this* for what I would pay for *that*. But sometimes you just want what you want.
I disagree on the “ripoff design” as well. I think this is fairly unique especially given that it can keep its shape. That being said, you can only do so much with a sling bag/fanny pack.

The price is far too high for me to buy one. I have the original and carry a loaded out small fry and what a junior in mine. Mini bic and visine fit those small stretchy pockets well…
