      I have a Kugoo M4 and it goes 45K im buying the G-Booster soley on the promise that it doubles the M4 speed. Looking at your video it sure doesn't seem much faster. Is that because your letting off on it or is my sales guy over selling it to me. A response would be greatly appreciated, because if it's not in the 80K's or even the high 70s i won't buy it??

    This is an impressive machine. It has strong power, excellent suspension system, and has a worry-free and pleasing appearance. You must know that the general off-road high-performance scooter has a rough appearance, but it has a delicate appearance. And while achieving the above advantages, the price is reasonable. At the price of 1k euro, I don’t think it has any competitors.

      Never tested it as I had it only for one day. General things to remember is that there is no ‘exact’ range because we all ride different.
      Consider your weight, hills, wind, start/stop, acceleration level, tyre pressure etc..
      G-Booster has max range of 80kms in optimal conditions with a light rider.
      I’d estimate if you are going full speed, cut that in half or by a bit more. Maybe 30-40kms distance max.
      If you are on low gear, of course you will get more range.
      Keep in mind if you are a tall rider, the Booster is only suitable for sitting. It’s dangerous standing on this if you are tall because the handlebars are so low and not stable going fast.

    I find Kugoo vehicles tend to be heavy, but tend to be very strong.
    I noticed your scooter seemed a little jittery as you were riding it along, the camera angle was watching your front wheel, it seems slightly jittery.
    I also prefer cable disc brakes to hydraulic as they can be repaired much easier and quicker than hydraulic brakes.
    There can be an advantage to removing the wheel when you get a flat tyre, that is you get to inspect all the parts to the wheel at the same time, but that is no consolation when you are out and about and just need the flat fixed.
    If the tyres were tubeless you could use a tyre mushroom to fix the flat, like with car and motorcycle tyres, which are very very good for tubeless tyres, on tubeless a puncture takes about 10 minutes to fix with those so perhaps that is what they used to fix your flat.

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think KUGOO needs to improve quality control. I also think that the handlebars are way too low on the G-Booster and it’s only suitable for sitting down (unless you are a smaller height)
      The brakes I always prefer is hydraulic 100%. Mechanical brakes require more adjusting as pads wear down. My friend fixes punctures on this all the time and also the M4 range. Tyres are not great at all. Poor quality.
      Either way as time goes on I’d say the quality will get better.

    • @flitsies
      @flitsies ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Movelectrics Yes you do have to adjust the cable brakes a lot more, but it takes less than 1 minute to adjust them.
      Hydraulic brakes are good but once they start to play up it is a case of replacing the calliper or rebuilding it, or the master cylinder on the handle bars, and in most cases unless you know what you are doing it can be expensive.
      Also cable brakes are cheaper to replace, fix and service.
      But I get what you mean, while they work they are great, and you don't have problems with cables getting rusty or sticky.
      But even with all that I still prefer cable discs for easy of service.
      A cable is cheap, a handle bar leaver tends to be cheap the callipers tend to be cheaper as well, and they work almost as good.
      One last advantage is that even when the company that makes them goes bust you will still find parts to fit them, unlike the hydraulic brakes.
      Oh and last point, the pads depend on the type you choose to use, my first pads that came with the bike were garbage, my new pads are great.

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would choose hydraulic over mechanical because of the stopping power. Hydraulic is pressured compared to cables. Maintenance is straight but for some, it may not be.
      Once you know how to bleed them, you are good to go.
      I had a Qiewa Qpower2 that went 73km/h and absolutely hydraulic brakes are needed. It weighed nearly 40kgs.
      Either way once your happy that’s what matters. Yes some pads are cheaper than others.
      If you have not done already, I’d recommend getting the semi-hydraulic Xtech brake. Was on the G Booster and decent enough.

    • @flitsies
      @flitsies ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Movelectrics Yes it is about what you feel better using.
      But from a maintenance point of view cable discs are much quicker and cheaper to look after.
      I don't have a problem maintaining hydraulic brakes, I strip and rebuild hydraulic motorcycle and car brakes, I am also fully aware of the things that can go wrong with hydraulic brake systems even with ABS, but for a bicycle or the lower powered escooters or even the medium powered scooters I would without a doubt stick to cable disc brakes for several reasons.
      1/ parts are readily available.
      2/ they are cheaper to replace.
      3/ servicing them is very quick.
      4/ they work almost as good as hydraulic.
      5/ they outlast hydraulic callipers.
      6/ when the company that makes your callipers go bust you will still be able to find parts for that calliper, even if not made for that calliper.
      7/ the handle bar levers are cheap and readily available.
      The list goes on.
      The things against cable brakes is.
      1/ you have to service them more frequently.
      2/ you have to make sure the cables are well lubricated.
      3/ when shipped with the bike, the pads are usually garbage, so you have to buy decent pads.
      I think that is often why people feel hydraulic brakes are way better than cable brakes simply because when they buy the bike new, they notice a difference in stopping power and they often get confused between the difference of a decent pair of pads compared to the actual power of the braking system itself.
      My cable brakes will stop almost equally as good as a hydraulic braking system, any more powerful and I would be flying over the handle bars.

      Anyway all of these new scooters got problem-cogging...you have to change controller to older one to solve the problem(200€)...+materials are not very durable...i got this for 2 weeks and read wheel is damaged a little...anyway its so powerful and addictive so im not gonna sell it that soon even with these problems but still im shocked of quality of materials,specially that shitty rear wheel...before this i had xiaomi 365 for 3 years and my only problem was punctured tire :D but it was slow and low range

      Hi Kieliopin ⚡️ you noticed! When I’m getting shots with the cameras, the gloves make things awkward when you are constantly adjusting for different angles. But other than that, the gloves are always on. Very cold outside 🛴 what scooter you have?
