I don't think such a clip can be intentional. The locomotive blew it's whistle and the buffalo galloped and they decided to keep it in the serial. It's a candid shot.

@@aaraar4055 Yup part of history removed. I traveled in metre gauge from Ahmedabad in Gujarat to Mt. Abu in Rajasthan in 1990. It was definitely a metre gauge train but I don't have the slightest remembrance if the locomotive was a steam or a Diesel locomotive as I was too young, then.

My theory behind why Rajasthan and Gujarat had such extensive meter gauge lines that lasted so long is due to the balkanisation of erstwhile princely states in both states. All those erstwhile kingdoms had rail networks and they were all connected, I guess because they were all related too. Anyway, that's my theory.

Sad that metre gauge has disappeared from India. Metre gauge meeting broad gauge was very interesting.
I was around to see it vanish, mile by mile in Rajasthan and it gave me no pleasure, I might add.
