    Oooh!! I’ve had the same exact experience in the past!!! Fine salt was the only thing that worked for me after many failed attempts with bug bombs and DE and many, many other products. Keep the salt on the ground. If you vacuum, dust again with powdered salt (large granules do nothing) you can carefully sweep into cracks and crevices but make sure there is always some salt around during the flea season- if you understand the flea life cycle, it will make sense why this works. Good luck!

      Thanks Valerie! These little beasts are so hard to kill! I am just glad they don't weigh 50 pounds lol they would be unstoppable :)

      @itsblank47 hey! Sorry ik this is really late but in case u still need it or if anyone looks for it later. I am currently helping my girlfriend get rid of these and I got rid of them in my apt a couple weeks ago. Any salt should work really well but i always blend it in the blender to turn it into a powder. (Do small amounts at a time or ur blender may start smoking lol) I also then mix it 50/50 with baking soda and after I do this every time the flees are gone and it kills their eggs so they don't come back. Anyways hope you don't need this anymore but :)

      @@gageminor2884 How long do you leave the salt on floor?

    Fleas were on the cat, that goes outside at night, but likes to sleep indoors, where the kids come home to sit to do their school and computer games, and I have carpet. I didn't put anything in the carpet yet, but I vacuumed a lot. Then the cat that we first found about 20 live fleas with a flea comb (after using frontline drops), I found I could mix baking soda and salt, then I put it on my hands and work it into her fur. This when she goes out for her lunch break. Been combing her, yesterday no fleas, day before that, one flea, alive, and today 1 flea, but I think it was dead already. I also washed all the blankets she gets on with hot water at least 2 times now.

    Thanks! I literally had just ordered diatomaceous earth, but cancelled the order when I saw this. I bought the same Natural Care flea spray a few weeks ago & wondered if it was working & now I know that it is!

    I know, it's disgusting 🤮with an outdoor flea problem we had several years ago, i used diatomaceous earth in the yard. Didn't work at all. In fact, it made them more aggressive-- tons of them, increased in number and activity. Best wishes-- i use salt now and anything i can throw at this vile problem-- vinegar, cedar sticks, Dawn soap in water, on and on... Football teams should choose the flea as their mascot-- now THAT'S vicious and intimidating!!! 😄

      Rofl yes the flea is insanely tough .. if it weighed a pound, it would rule the earth lol

    I noticed the boards... Fleas will live under the floor. You need to treat under the boards with a bomb.

    Yup that's the exact same hot shot brand we used ! Having an exterminator come today. Hopefully that works!
    Years ago as a teen my Dad kept using those foggers. What worked was going to a farm store like tractors supply and getting the most potent flea fogger. He did this about 2 or 3 times 3 days apart and they were gone. It was so bad you could not sit on the porch without them on you.

    I'm dealing with this right now! Can't go outside without them attacking my legs. Diatomaceous earth did not do a thing! I want to spray my yard with dawn in water hose attachment sprayer. Just not sure how long that will last... Just don't have the money for chemical killers

    • @ETPCYT
      @ETPCYT  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They are soooo nasty.. if you can some how use very hot soapy water, that might do it

    Also you can spread nematodes in your yard. Again it’s not an overnight fix.

    how do you or can you know what exactly works as you are mixing products need to test one at a time the cure can be a chemical reaction to all the products you used.

      The DE alone could have killed them. It takes more than a few days.

    It's not that it didn't work when you mix the salt and baking soda it hatches any eggs so they're probably the babies that are jumping on you that was in the eggs which will die eventually from the baking soda and salt

      @ETPCYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah I learned a lot about fleas with this ordeal.. They are very tenacious little creatures.. all I can say is if they weighed 50 pounds they would be the most feared thing on the planet ROFL.. Thanks for your insight! :)
