Great trip! Didn’t know about Cebu Pacific but I was impressed by the tropical livery, tasty looking food & overall cleanliness even though they are a smaller airline. Of course the Singapore airport is like no other 😊❤❤Also love looking at all the planes at the airport. 😮❤👍🏻🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸

Just a disclaimer, some of their older a320-214s have some slightly detached or slightly broken tray tables but not blaming the airline because i cant imagine a delay caused by a rowdy passenger
I think this is video is a great way to finish off 2023. This was the year in which you got to visit Asia for the first time, and in a way this short-haul flight within that region kind of represents all your flying & all you got to do this year. Not sure if that makes sense haha. As for the flight itself, I have to say that I really like Cebu Pacific's livery and branding! It perfectly suits the type of airline that they are without looking ugly or tacky (as some LCC liveries do). I also quite liked the views. As someone who is also into boats (in addition to planes), seeing all the ships in both ports (Manila and Singapore) was fun, and I feel like the skies were really beautiful on this flight, between the sunrise, large storm clouds, and that rainbow. Thanks for a great 2023, and I'm looking forward to seeing what 2024 will be like for the channel. Happy New Year!

Maybe because my expectations were not very high... or maybe because, as you said, they have a very solid product, and that's something you can see/feel when you are onboard. You lucky you got on 5j 813 i was on 5j 626 and 5j623 DGT to MNL and MNL TO DGT also DGT stands for Dumaguete city and also the plane i was taking which was 5j 626 and that plane was pure white no liveries

Really cool video. As always an entartaining video . I just image how much sometimes you need to go trough in a random flight . The best example is the QA flight when you had to hear some annoying boys making sounds . Also your the one who made me dont fear planes ( only that i flew only one time in my life and that was in the last summer lol). So i wanted to say "thank you". And also Airbus is gonna make a big profit with cebu pacific. 😂 P.S. : I always wonder how you know that the "x" or "y" plane arrives from / goes to "z" location.

I also had a chance to fly Cebu pacific for the 1st time last december going to Korea…to my surprise the flight was smooth but the only drawback was the line at the check in counter…it took us about an hour to get our Boarding pass…it only have 1 line for all international flight…I hope they can have separate check in for different flight…
Enjoy your trip reports Two things you did not notice on your flight 1. At 7:46 there is a Lufthansa A380 in the LufthansaTek maintenance hanger at the airport. They do maintenance for A380s for a lot of operators including British Airway, Qantas and more. 2. At 9:20 you fly over a small airport. That airport is called Sangley Point Airport and it is the site of the future new airport in Manila.

First time I have seen MNL and looks like a very place. since you were talking about Fuel saving - Can a 380 make it with one engine? if the answer is yes, imagine how much fuel savings per year for Emirates with that move. BTW big thanks again for the fantastic review.
To be honest, I don't know about bigger planes than A320 family and B737. I don't think that an A380 taxiing with just 1 engine would be efficient, at all. In any case, I think it would be at least 2 or 3 engines ON for taxi. But I repeat, I don't know for that type of planes.

Mmm At least on this A321Neo, I don't think so. Airlines like Spirit, Frontier, or Wizzair offer basically the same seat configuration, but with a much worse onboard service. Let's see it on the Trip Report :)

1:08 actually, they have turboprop ATR 72-600 planes in their fleet. so about 99% airbus.

Really cool video. As always an entartaining video . I just image how much sometimes you
need to go trough in a random flight . The best example is the QA flight when you had to hear some annoying boys making sounds . Also your the one who made me dont fear planes ( only that i flew only one time in my life and that was in the last summer lol). So i wanted to say "thank you". And also Airbus is gonna make a big profit with cebu pacific. 😂
P.S. : I always wonder how you know that the "x" or "y" plane arrives from / goes to "z" location.

I also had a chance to fly Cebu pacific for the 1st time last december going to Korea…to my surprise the flight was smooth but the only drawback was the line at the check in counter…it took us about an hour to get our Boarding pass…it only have 1 line for all international flight…I hope they can have separate check in for different flight…

Two things you did not notice on your flight
1. At 7:46 there is a Lufthansa A380 in the LufthansaTek maintenance hanger at the airport. They do maintenance for A380s for a lot of operators including British Airway, Qantas and more.
2. At 9:20 you fly over a small airport. That airport is called Sangley Point Airport and it is the site of the future new airport in Manila.

First time I have seen MNL and looks like a very place. since you were talking about Fuel saving - Can a 380 make it with one engine? if the answer is yes, imagine how much fuel savings per year for Emirates with that move. BTW big thanks again for the fantastic review.
To be honest, I don't know about bigger planes than A320 family and B737. I don't think that an A380 taxiing with just 1 engine would be efficient, at all.
In any case, I think it would be at least 2 or 3 engines ON for taxi. But I repeat, I don't know for that type of planes.

haha That could be perfectly the case. However, in this particular one, I was 100% sure that I could only pick one of the pre-ordered meals. Since I paid on the Philippines currency on the website, I didn't know that I was paying 2 instead of 1. At the end, perfect mistake, since both were great :D

Cebu Pacific is notorious for having among the most cramped seats in the industry.
Mmm At least on this A321Neo, I don't think so. Airlines like Spirit, Frontier, or Wizzair offer basically the same seat configuration, but with a much worse onboard service. Let's see it on the Trip Report :)
And btw seats do recline is cebu pacific flights

El límite máximo de ese tipo de nubes lo marca la altura de la Tropopausa, que cuanto más cerca del ecuador, más alta es. De ahí la mayor altura de esas nubes. :)

Échale un ojo a esos vídeos, particularmente durante el embarque, que se ve bien como están las ventanillas respecto al asiento.
