Good race this one, Note Larry Ps VK faster than Grice's VL down the straight. & he's getting more revs than Grice, In spite of the fact that the VL was supposed to have a higher revving engine than the VK. Also 1st taste of Sierra straight line speed advantage.

@Dan40049 The AIR race was the VL's Australian debut IIRC. Perkins VK was well sorted by then while Gricey's VL was still too new.

@Holden308 True, by Bathurst time Grice's VL was the fastest of the Holdens.
